Chicago (57-55) at Seattle (58-53) 9:10pm CST
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 10:34 PM) It's going to be a bit embarassing if Aardsma shuts us down. When, not if.

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 10:31 PM) Time to move him up in the order, and bat him 3rd. Yes.

Hawk & Stone are brutal toward Linebrink. Brutal. Justified, but brutal.

Linebrink. Enough said.

Drink more.. Faster... Sox will look less bad and socks will taste less bad. And you'll care less.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 10:04 PM) To a guy who can only hit fastballs. Heat hat-high would have been fine. Doubt he could have laid off.

Floyd given a third chance. Short leash, I'd guess. Ozzie will want him to get him a win.

Give Floyd a second chanc, he walks #9. Second stolen with no dificuly, guy's first ever. Ichiro, of course, drives him in. Ouch.

TCQ's double notwithstanding, I become more and more amazed at Coop's skill as a pitching coach. Crummy or average pitchers just get in the ballpark with him and they become the rebirth of Cy Young.

Wow. Gavin think he was going to be perfect tonight? Soon as he gave up that walk, he stated throwing BP.

Indians (47-62) @ White Sox (56-54) 6:05pm WGN-HD
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Aug 8, 2009 -> 08:25 PM) You absolutely do not give them a free base runner. EVER. You wanna retaliate? Hit a homer, score some runs. Being childish is unacceptable in the game of baseball. I disagree. You protect your hitters. Always been that way.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Aug 8, 2009 -> 08:23 PM) You have to retaliate. So now we have to do it Sunday in an 0-0 game. I'd rather have had Bobby hit one of them. It'll be up to Jose, now early in tomorrow's game. That's why I wanted to "send the message" tonght.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Aug 8, 2009 -> 07:59 PM) Even the Indians broadcasters thought MATTY was being squeezed "One of these pitches has gotta be called a strike." I like, on Direct TV, getting Indians' broadcasters. Always profesional & insightful.
