John, if you get FX with your local cable and they do the same thing they did last year, look for/expect a 24 marathon on a weekend covering 12 episodes Saturday and the remaining 12 Sunday. That is what got me to catch and record the 2 episodes I missed last season. If that doesn't happen, I have all episodes on tape. I wouldn't mind making you a copy of episodes you missed and setting the vcr's up to do so while I'm at work then send it to you. Then again, once the DVD is out, those tapes of mine will be recorded over with more Sox games.

Since the Marlins have 2 good CFs in Pierre and Encarnacion, how about Rauch, Lee and a Tier I prospect for Encarnacion and Castillo? We get our much-needed CF, bring up Borchard and platoon him with Rios in LF, Val moves to first and a Jimenez experiment at SS. Too much?

KW (or whoever replaces him) can probably get Cabrera from the Spos. Then we move Val back to CF? I want Cabrera in a Sox Uni BAD!

Then who replaces him if they waste his character next week? Is he, as an executive producer, going to try to resurrect the acting career of one of his boys from the past? Emilio Estevez? Charlie Sheen? Kevin Bacon? Hmmmmm....

And Klesko and Nevin are surfin buddies (I can't count how many times I would see them at beaches in nothern San Diego county when I used to kick it up there) and they used to give the D s*** all the time like every veteran does to the rookie, but I guess D didn't care for it and wanted it to cease, which they didn't.

Jimenez CANNOT play short. Only option there is to see if we can convert him quickly to be our CF'r. THAT is doable, to some degree. Defense there would suffer a bit, but he'd pick it up.

Especially since those comments from Nevin and Klesko were false, because they didn't like the fact that D'angelo was sort of degrading their "fine" organization. REmember, I'm in SD and follow the Pads as my NL team, although not as big a fan as the Sox, but I probably know more since I get their news on talk radio, tv news, etc. If someone was to be asked about his work ethics when he was here, it should have been Gwynn, as he tutored the kid.

I still think it's HILLARIOUS that one of us make the names Boog_Alou95 both here AND WSI on 5/13 (yesterday), leaving him to take boog_alou over there. If I had thought of that, I would have done it too and fessed up also. I could care less. Just wish whoever it was would fess up, because it is FUNNY. It's like the Usual Suspect: Me, SS, PA, Sox1422, Bev, Johnny, BPJ....there's a long list of those that have "converted" these past few days.

THAT is what makes it so good. Everything is in total chaos, and you can only wonder what's going to happen from week to week. Someone (or two) is going to die next week for sure, and it's going to be a major player.

Just think of the added pressure on this guy to get us those "must-wins" to break losing streaks. It all started when he was #4 to start the season and after getting swept against the Royals he pitched a gem against the Tiggers. Then he pitches the third game of the Royals series to give us 2 out of 3 against them. Then after losing the last 2 gamnes of a 4 game set to the lowly Tribe, he gets us a big win in Baltimore. Once again, in his next start he gives us the series win against the Twins. He gives us our only win at Oakland, then last night another W after we lost 4 of 6 on the road. He's so clutch right now it's not funny. And the intensity in his face when he's on the mound...he's got those "Pedro Eyes." I hope he stays for at least 3-4 more years, because like SS said, he's been "fixed."
