Sooo randomly I got a notice from Illinois for what it appears not paying taxes in 2018, even though I didn't work or live in the state that year. This is going to be fun...

Starting to look at replacing my 2011 Audi Q5 (bought used). When I bought that I had a daily commute of about 60 miles total, now I'm working at home and spend way less time in the car so not looking for something fancy, just want a few things and a reliable ride. I'd like another ~mid-size SUV so I can haul stuff/friends when I need to, I've been eyeing used Ford Edges and Escapes, I've also liked Hyundai's Santa Fe (and love their new model but holy hell SUVs have skyrocketed in price). Anyone with some good personal experiences in that market? And has anyone traded with Carvana? Seems intriguing but not sure if it beats the simplicity and customer service of Carmax.

Saw an Athletic article that ranked the Bears draft 4th overall. CBS gave it a B+ rating.

I liked what I heard about Herbert but would have preferred a lottery ticket on a WR, oh well. Overall I think it was a good draft.

Bears select Dazz Newsome at 221, would have preferred Seth Williams who went at 219 but glad we picked up a WR finally.

Bears trade pick 208 to Seahawks, haven't seen what the return is yet. EDIT: for 217 and 250 this year.

Jenkins was one of the few guys I was ok trading up for, I think he's an instant starter and will be a stud. We needed a certainty on the OL in this draft and they got it.

If Fields works out, it's much easier to surround talent for him. If he doesn't, well the rebuild was inevitable without a QB anyways.

I would have been good with Jenkins at 20, so two first round picks essentially this year at key positions is pretty great. team has all sorts of holes to fill still but love what we did pick. Do we trade a future pick to get back in if someone falls that they love?

Yea and that isn't as common in this draft so totally ok with taking that and following up with one of the many slot options.

CBS has Cosmi and Nico Collins, which I'd be good with that and then try and grab (or trade up) for a slot guy too.

It's tough for fans as we'll never like the answer. The fact we let go Fuller and opened up a hole on the roster is even more infuriating. But again, we'll never be satisfied with a response from Pace on this.
