I flew down the stairs because my cell phone started ringing and threw the game on (I had just walked in the door earlier that inning). It was ma on the phone asking if I had gotten home yet and saw the homerun.

I have to contact WOW to order the hockey package (note to self lol)

It was great to see Ottawa win, but for the Canes, Gerber really disappointed me. He was shaky all pre-season. I think they need to start Cam the next game. But then again, maybe Gerber needs a second chance. I guess I shall soon see. Does anyone know if Irbe is still net minding anywhere in the NHL?

I don't expect much from Mariotti, but sheesh, enjoy the win.
