Buehrle sucks today! Thank you Mark, we just lost to a crappy teams crappiest pitcher! Thank you JM for waiting so long to pull Mark out! Did it really take 4.1 IP to see he just doesnt have it? JMs an idiot. Today blows! Buehrles ERA is now 3.00. Oh well, we just stunk today. Honestly, I get happier when I see that Loaiza is pitching than when Buehrle is. Buehrle, in my eyes, hasnt been that great this year. We are 2-3 when he pitches (given we lose today) and he will be 2-2. Im much happier when Loaiza is on the mound...

This game sucks. I give up on the game updates. Its too stressful when were playing as crappy as we are...
-
We beat up on him last time but today no one has a clue. When I celebrated our large victory yesterday my dad warned my wed probably lose like 3-2 today. I guess he was right...

Bottom four Konerko grounds out to first (this guy sucks, Rios has nine RBIs off of the bench, Thomas can play first too, does anyone see where Im going with this? Dump Konerko, play Thomas at first and put Rios at DH) Lee grounds out to third Rios strikes out swinging Score 4-1 Indians

Top four Phillips lines out to center Bradley singles to right Vizquel GIDP 5-4-3 Score 4-1 Indians

This guy Davis is crap. Why cant we hit him? We are too selfish. People swinging for the fences and not for the team. Thomas and Konerko better start hitting soon. Thomas was supposed to be in the best shape of his career. Now he just has to put his God given talent to use...

Frank just doesnt look very good at the plate. I thought he was going to be turning it around this year. Instead he has chosen to swing for the fences and pull everything, and as a result, hes hitting .231...

Identity will be scary. Im gonna see that one...

I hate hockey. And the fact that where I live I dont get to see many televised Sox games, Id take the Sox. But remember, this is from a guy who hates hockey and doesnt get to watch live Sox games regularly...

Thats a good one bj. But wsf, that was pretty gay. I was seriously sickened out while reading that story. Ive done some weird stuff (with the balcony bunjee jumping and explosive bees leading the way) but nothing was that weird...

I like Ray-Ray and DJ both. But now that Ray-Ray is gone I think we should stop the comparisons. He aint coming back, and thats that...

Graffy too . Speaking of Graffy, he f***in' rizobbed Laker of a solid single in today's (Saturday) game. Don't know how it looked on TV, but that was an awesome catch. You could hear Laker scream, "God damnit" from where I was sitting down the first base line Hmm, musta missed that play. What inning was it?

Oh shucks, I was gonna start my own thoughts of the day thread, but ya beat me to it. Oh well, Ill just say what I think right here. I am really starting to like DJ. 4-5 with three RBIs and a run. I liked him from the beginning. Yes, his attempt to go home on Graffys liner wasnt the best thing to do but other than that he played well. Hes hitting .355 with a .444 OBP. Hes becoming a true all around ballplayer. His power is decent for a leadoff guy and his speed is pretty good. We just have an unaggressive manager who wont send him. As for the power thing, Id prefer he just gets on base and scores run and leaves the power to the big guys. Homeruns and RBIs from DJ are a bonus. Maggs had a very nice homerun. He hit it off a good pitch and it went a long way. And one thing this thread has missed, he is now on a fifteen game hitting streak. Doesnt mean much but just thought Id bring it up. Frank, Paulie and Lee, all of whom were struggling a bit, came through today. Frank didnt look too good in his first three ABs but he had two hits at the end, both of which were hit hard. Even if Milton Bradley plays that double right, Frank still smashed that ball and thats what I like to see. And even if his average is a bit low for him, he leads the team with a .446 OBP, not to mention seventeen walks and hes now the White Sox all time walk leader. Lee is now above .200 and he is second on the team with 11 ribbies. And even though it didnt mean much, I like the effort he put into the nice catch he made to end the game. And of course the three run bomb to give us our first 10+ run game. Konerko is still below .200 but hes slowly improving. I think he will get on track soon, players like him dont hit like this continuosly. He also made a nice defensive play. Our defense looked nice. Crede, Konerko and Lee all made nice plays. Like clujer said, only one error and that was by Stewart, I too am fine with that. As for the Tribes defense which allowed us seven unearned runs, thats fine by me. They had four errors but those werent the only questionable plays. To name a few, Konerkos single in the first (Karim Garcia, for reasons unknown to myself, eased up and let it drop), the two misread doubles by Bradley (they were hit hard and I wonder if Bradley would have caught em but he still looked pretty bad) and the two misthrows by Garcia (one of which was followed up by another misthrow by Anderson). But even without the crappy defense, we still win 5-2 (one Cleveland run was unearned). And I like how we capitalized on their mistakes. Good teams make people pay for their mistakes, and that is exactly what we did. As for Koch, yeah his velocity is down but hes only thrown eight innings. Give him some time and hell get it together. This is the first run hes allowed this year against a team other than Kansas City. Just another one of my weird facts. Overall, Im very happy with the way we played today. 4 in row baby! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thomas and Lee are not the two guys Id like to see leading the way if I were the pitcher. Id be scared outta my mind. And I am glad that our guys are standing up for eachother. I just hope we dont take a ton of suspensions and slump or something. But come to think about it, after the Tigers fight in 2000 we actually started playing even better. Just a thought...
-
Ive been a Jiminez supporter from the start. I knew he could do it, now lets just hope he continues down his current path...
-
Im embarrassed that we are the only team to have lost to the Tigers. I hope they win another game soon. Id say theyll win 43 games. But if anyone cares, I just calculated it, they are on pace to win 11 games...

Another time when I lived in Spain I went into my backyard to get something out of this old metal shed we had. There was a wasps nest and one came out and stung me. TWICE, the dirty thug stung me two times. I was really pissed. So I walked to the front of my house and took this can of gasoline that we used for the lawnmower. I walked back and absolutely drenched those wasps. You may know that wasps/bees whatever, get their wings burnt off when they get touched with gasoline. So now I have all the bees laying on the ground, wingless, in a huge pile of gasoline, which not to my knowledge is slowly seeping into my open shed. So the logical thing would be to step on em all til theyre all dead but I was pissed (my hand where I was stung still hurt) and I wanted to have some fun. So I got this lighter from my house and I walked back and ducked down behind this doghouse we had like 25 feet from the shed. I hit that switch and my entire patio and just about everything in my shed went up in flames. It was nuts...
