Once, I went over to my friends house. We took his bedsheets and went up to his third story balcony. I tied one end to his railing and secured the other tightly around both my wrists. Then I balanced myself on the rail and threw myself off of the balcony. I flew about a story down and about seven feet out. Then things balanced out and slammed me into the building between the windows of the second floor. Myy wrists gave way and I fell the last story and landed on my back. I was pretty bruised up and had a really sore back but fortunately I wasnt badly hurt. Heck, I coulda been killed. Then another time when I lived in Spain, I used to hit tennis balls in my yard. It was a pretty small yard so like every other one went out. Sometimes they went across the street and into my neighbors yard. These people had a fence which was about 1 foot of cement and five feet of stick bundled tightly together and topped with ivy. So one day the ball went in there and I went to get it. I ran up, pushed off the cement, grabbed the top of the fence and tried to boost my legs over. But my feet hit the top of the sticks and I flipped over and hit my face straight on the back side of the fence. Then I fell down into the neighbors yard on my back. I wasnt really hurt that time either. It wasnt stupid or crazy because I didnt try to do it but it sure isnt something Id try again...

Crystal River and Orlando. OK, so they lost to KC (but they beat em twice, which was good) and they gave Detroit their only win but other than that they did well...

Just got back from a wonderful spring break vacation in Florida. My first time ever going to Florida. Very nice. I couldnt get on the internet but of course I was keeping up with my beloved Sox and they did well. Lee seems to be getting it together, Garland had a nice start, Loaiza looks awesome (shutdown KC, he is looking great, even better than Bartolo) and the Sox are catching up to those KC frauds. I didnt think KC would make it to 11-3 but Im glad to see that the Sox were the first ones to finally crack their luck. I like it! And then there was yet another idiot fan attacking somebody. Fortunately, no one was hurt and the attacker was a Cubs fan. I was kinda wondering what kinda moron would attack a former Marine but my doubts were washed away when I learned he was a Cubs fan. I think it must of been a coordinated movement between those four morons to embarass us Sox fans. Im glad they got their butts kicked, we should lock em up for a long time. Other than that little incident, Im pretty happy with what I saw this week. Lets hope the Sox keep it up!

I agree with the whole idea that Diaz wasnt attacked thing, but for a different reason. Diaz is an ex-Marine. Eric Drybas, the attacker, was probably drunk out of his mind. Diaz was never in harms way, 24 y/o drunks just aint gonna do much harm to a Marine...

I agree S-squared2k3...... Jon is my favorite player, and i hate making excuses for him.... but... I think the ump yesterday f***ed jon up mentally. He was squeezing him on pitches, and got Jon talking to himself on the mound... I dunno if anyone else saw it, but in the second or third inning, Jon threw a pitch that was called a ball, which prolly was a strike.... and started to do some jabbering on the mound. I think he needs to learn to get over things like this and just pitch. My prediction is still 16wins for JG this year. I like him too I just hope he gets his rear in gear. I didnt see yesterdays game (FSNs acting up) so I didnt see the bad calls. But Im not surprised that yet another ump ripped us off. And I will congratulate Jon on going six innings and preventing our bullpen from being wasted. That was good...

I like him and think he has the potential but the question is, is he ever gonna show this potential? I think he can be good but hes never been able to put it together. Its only two starts into the season but still, he did this the last three years. Last year was OK but the two before that werent. I just hope he can get it going. I dont know what were gonna do when Wright gets back. If Stewart and Loaiza are the real deals you cant get rid of them. And if Wright actually performs you cant boot him either. Garland needs to get it together, his spot could depend on how he does in upcoming weeks. Its still unclear who will be the odd man out when Wright gets back...
