The black sox scandal. It screwed this team over for over 80 years and it gave us a bad rep. Trolls and anti-Sox maggots use it against us to make us look evil. Those guys were a bunch of criminals. Hsc, I dont want to piss you off again. But I just dont see why everyone looks up to a criminal like hes a hero. Comiskey was the greatest. Gandil, Jackson, Risberg, McMullin, Ciccotte, Williams, Weaver and Felsch were all criminals and I shall never look up to a single one of them. Its given us a bad rep and I hate em for it. Aside from being just a great player, Frank has loyalty! Other ballplayers are jumping ship and changing uniforms every year. For them, its all about the money, no one stays with a team just because he likes it there. Maybe Frank is about money but hes stayed in one place, and I respect him for that. Hes never demanded a trade, with the slight exception of this offseason hes never really thought of leaving. So cut him a break, will ya? Jesus! Hes only human! No ones perfect, so stop ripping on him for every tiny mistake!

Popeye, buddy, with all due respect, you can probably see by my name that I support Comiskey. And I do. Comiskey formed this team and he was very important in the creation of the AL. Gandil and Risberg were just jerks. Jackson was just an illiterate southerner. The other five just had no clue what they were doing. Its not Comiskeys fault. He was a bit stingy but these ballplayers were just out of line. And like cw said its not cool when anybody dies. That said, make yourself at home and have some fun on the boards!

Dont ya love reading stories about idiotic criminals? I do, so Im gonna start a thread just for this. Where everyone can tell the funniest true crook stories they can. Hell, even jokes are acceptable. So Ill start with a true story: A man with a ski mask and a gun walked into a Florida bank, aimed his gun at the guard and screamed "Freeze, mother stickers! This is a f*** up!". It was rather quite for a moment and then everybody started laughing. The guard keeled over laughing and this was probably a good thing because he was about to draw his gun and he wouldnt have been able to fire before the crook. The crook then ran out in embarrassment and got away. The bank now has a plaque of the hilarious slip... Well, I hope that gives yall something to start on! Have fun!

That was last year, this is this year and were a new team! And PK is quite modest. I do not have moronic ideas. I RARELY discuss politics on this board...I've only posted a few posts about politics. I've just recently gotten a little involved in this political talk, because I'm sick of us sitting on our asses on this whole thing! You CANNOT be totally peaceful in everything, or you'll end up as a royal dormat! And heather, I support the war too. But I want a war with a purpose, to dispose Saddam. Its kinda funny. The guy hits 29 homeruns and has 109 RBIs and then he hits 28 homeruns with 92 RBIs and we call em bad seasons. Just goes to show how good he really is...
