Oh. I dont download much stuff. Im about as computer illiterate as you can get. And the headphones got some tape on em but I needed headphones and theyre still really comfortable. I like the deal actually. And the way the headphones look doesnt really matter to me since I usually got my hood anyways. But a short time before I traded for the headphones I bought a 50 cent CD from the same kid and then I saw I had no headphones so I went and made another deal...

What exactly is that? Is it magazine or internet? I can get stuff much easier over the internet. But still that was kinda indirect. Did I get fleeced or did I do the fleecing?

I just gave a friend of mine one dollar and the last SI swimsuit issue for a set of headphones. Is this a good trade? I looked at most of the stuff in it and kinda committed it to memory but thats never as good as having it. What do yall think?

My grandson got up out of his seat when sam-me came to the plate and he said, "I want to see sam-me strike out" and he stood in the aisle so he had a clear unobstructed view of the plate - he made his announcement loudly so everyone in our area heard his strike out prediction - and of course when sam-me struck out the kid was a hero prophet in the upper deck! To commemorate the event, I bought him his first Cubs Suck t-shirt and he was so proud - and every time he went to Comiskey after that people asked him for his game predictions and bought him stuff and called him the good-luck charm - He is something like 12-1 at games - I think he is the good luck charm. and what a fun memory to be reminded of this gray overcast day - Hey, Ive been to about 15 games at Comiskey in my life and Ive only lost once so I can be a good luck charm too...

Where can I get the game live? None of the major websites have it. Im glad to see a nice rally right there and that Borchard and Rowand are doing so well. Management is gonna have a tough choice for CF I think. But lets save the really good play for the regular season. Spring training is meaningless...

He better be or else this team is really, really screwed. Well, he performed really well with us this past year and I think he can do it again. From last year, his fullseason stats would be like 116 runs and a decent amount of homeruns and RBIs for a leadoff hitter. But those final two arent important for a leadoff hitter, I think some younger Sox fans might be dissappointed to see that Jiminez wont hit 20 HRs a year but they shouldnt. Power for a leadoff guy is not important. Hes supposed to be fast and good at betting on base, which Jiminez is...

I really like Jimenez and Im glad to see that he recovered well from his accident. I think hell be a great leadoff hitter for us this year...

For being an ally of Saddam Hussein he should lose all credibility. Along with the fact that he blackmails another nations by saying that they wont get into the EU if the support the US in Iraq. IMO, the worst was that 19-0 loss to the world champion Angels. That was BRUTAL. and unfortunately, I was there to see it all. As for the switch-about that oldroman proposed..of course I would choose the Crede homer in Cubs game. I dont care WHO hit that game winning homer, it just matters that it was done, and the sCrubs were handed their sorry little asses. That was pretty bad. But did it have an overall effect on the season? Not really, except it kept us from going over .500. But every loss did that so that doesnt really count. After the 19-0 loss ya go to bed and say its ok, well get em again tommorow. But not with Buehrles loss, then it cant happen for another year. And if we lost 5-2 and it was over at the beginning, it might be ok. But we lost it at the end, we lost it with victory in sight. And that really bites...

And it just adds to the excitement that our opponent in that game was the Cubs. Heres a question to think about. I really loved watching both those games. But which one would you like more if the Crede game was against the Cubs and the major comeback was against the Jays? If you look at my favorite Sox moment it says the Crede game but its still a hard choice. I really dont have an answer...

When Buehrle lost the final game and his bid for 20. He was so good against the Twins all year and it was much of the same that day. But sadly, our deadly offense just never showed up...

You can start a franchise and go for unlimited seasons. You can start with real rosters or with a fantasy draft. You start with some minor leaguers and when you get players you dont need you can send em down or trade em. With the Sox youll start with Joe Crede and Dan wright in the system but not much else. Its got really good graphics and gameplay too...

Who cares? He and Buehrle both looked pretty sharp today...

Like tons of other teams threw games back in that era. But none of them have bad reps because they dont choose to remember em. Do ya see any Giants fans praising Hal Chase? No, you dont. Maybe theres a curse on this team and maybe if we stop praising the Black Sox itll go away. Praise Fisk, praise Collins, praise Thomas. But dont praise Jackson!

Without Comiskey....we'd be cheering for another team. That is no big deal. Had the White Sox never been created, we would never have known about them and we'd all be cheering for like the Phillies or something like that....maybe a different person would have founded the White Sox....but point blank, Comiskey was an asshole. I don't give a rat's ass that he started the White Sox...he treated his players like s*** and was probably the biggest motive behind the Black Sox scandal. If you think Comiskey is the greatest because he started the White Sox....then you must be the type of person that likes Blondie because she created rap. Anyways....there's some stuff on the Black Sox scandal on ESPN Classic tonight(like Sports Century or something), I believe like around 7 ET time....and then Eight Men Out is on. I figure I'll check it out. Actually Im watching Eight men Out right now. I missed a good part of it so I think Im just going to rent it next weekend. But I still think Comiskey was the greatest. Jackson, Gandil and the rest of them were crooks. I dont want to remember them. Remember instead those like Kerr, Collins, Faber and more recent and more honest stars. Id like to see those eight men out of memory as well...
