Actually Jim, I just figured it out. And he wont fall below .300 in your given case. I used the projected totals for this year and added them on to his career totals. Then I figured out how many hits you would need to hit .275 in 550 ABs. Its 151. So if for the next three years he gets 151 hits in 550 ABs, hell be hitting .303. And hell have a very respectable 2502 career hits...

Id go with everyone else and say if he gets 500 it will be in 2006. Ive also heard he wants to retire at the end of 2006. So lets says he gets 14 more this season. That puts him at 414. Then over 3 years, hell need 86 homeruns. Thats about 29 homeruns a year. He could do that. And do you seriously think if he reaches 2007 and is at 485 homeruns or something hes gonna quit? No. Hell only be 38 so he could go one last year in that scenario.

I love Frank and think he has a shot to make it, but I wouldnt call him a lock. Please dont jinx him. And dont set expectations because if he fails to reach your expectations but he still does well or even great, youll see him as a failure. If he ends with 450 (altho I hope he doesnt) thats still great but if you expected 500 hes gonna look like a failure, even tho 450 career bombs is anything but...

Did you just get your license or something danman? I dont really mind the passenger restrictions. Ill drive to school and Im gonna be hosting an exchange student so thatll be my one passenger. Then when I go on dates Ill have one passenger. And most of my friends drive so if we wanted to hang out we could just meet up. Then again Ill probably just say screw that and take as many passengers as I want. I mean come on! Minnesota has a law that says you cant cross state lines with a duck on your head. That destroys most of the laws credibility in my mind...

3 months? Thats pretty good. What happens if you hold it 24 months and how can anyone do that? And here, when you get your license you have passenger restrictions. If youre 16 you get one under 18 passenger, 17 gets three and 18 can have as many as he can fit. Ive heard in other states such as Indiana that in the first three months or something you can have no under 18 passengers...

How long do you have to hold the learners permit in Illinois? Here in Virginia you can get it when youre 15 1/2 and ya gotta hold it for 9 months. Ya gotta pass drivers ed (classroom stuff at school), drive for 40 hours in those nine months (atleast ten at nite), pass behind the wheel (actual driving class) and then pass the drivers test. If you fail to get the permit (which I did the first time I went) or the license, ya gotta wait 15 days. Ya gotta do all of it (well my best friend says they dont check for the 40 hours but Im doing it just to be safe)...
