  1. I hope we get shut out today......that will help us get at least 4 runs tomorrow (by law of averages), which means we have a shot at winning tomorrow with Bart going on the mound This O is just tooooo bad....but the O would not matter today given we have given up 11 already.....I rather score in a game where we have a chance....I know I sound pathetic but if all we will get is 4 runs in two games, I rather get 0 in one so that I can win the other
  2. Can we relieve Buehrle too.....maybe for the year
  3. Right now if we are winning and the bullpen is called upon it is either Marte or Koch or Gordon..... If we are losing even by more than 2 (which means we are done with our offense), Manuel goes with White or Glover Wunsch only comes in for situational lefties Sanders comes in whenever we are losing and the other two (Glover and White) are too tired or have us pitched before Sanders In short, Manuel is so freaking scared of this bullpen, he only goes to 3 guys to win ... LOL
  4. I do not mind going after Acevedo also.....not sure though if White goes or Glover goes White has retired 11 of his last 12 batters....he might just be finally getting it.....he did very well last year too in the second half of the year
  5. You obviously have no clue if you do not think Frank is one of the greatest hitters in baseball....all time ARod and Bonds are great too....but I said "one of the...."

  7. Nice signature, what are you like two years old? Like I said before when you can't beat em, smother em with 4 letter words. Way to prove that you can hold an intelligent conversation. Gimme a break SS2003 And it was not a signature, just the FACTS
  8. I would rather have Mike Cameron on this team right now than freaking crybaby, whiny, hypocrite named paulie. f*** YOU PAULIE......YOU SON OF A b****. NEXT TIME THINK TWICE BEFORE TALKING ABOUT ONE OF THE GREATEST HITTERS IN BASEBALL.
  9. But Frank Thomas is a whiner
  10. I just saw the Dbacks make our O look like crap without Schilling or Johnson so I have no idea what to expect for now Hopefully they keep walking Bonds though
  11. Great point, but when the same question is asked to Frank and when he gives the same answer, some folks call it whining And guess what, Frank has NEVER in his life called out a player if a player is doing badly in front of the media....he has way more class than the piece of s*** named paul konerko. Yet, paul did that last year when Frank was struggling (way to maintain leadership jag bag paul)......Frank has more class than to call him out this year Paul wants to be a leader, but ot be a leader you have to perform....Frank has done that forever....unlike paulie
  12. TRADE FOR KENNY LOFTON TRADE FOR KENNY LOFTON TRADE FOR KENNY LOFTON TRADE FOR KENNY LOFTON TRADE FOR KENNY LOFTON TRADE FOR KENNY LOFTON
  13. Rex Agree with all your posts in this thread Of course i disagree your position on Frank on the other thread
  14. I hope everyone goes there and votes that Frank deserves to be in the HOF
  15. Way to leave out the end of the quote. You know for someone who complains about Frank being "misunderstood", you think you would have more class than to take half of a quote from an article. I read that part of the quote too, but it seemed so "cliche" that it was obvious the pathetic leader was trying to back track when he realized he was doing the same thing he had the nerve to challenge Frank for last year. Hopefully, this slump puts some humility in him. He will obviously pull out of this slump at some time (well, he cannot get any worse now can he?)......hopefully then he will learn to shut is trap when he is doing well instead of telling the world how everyone else is a baby for not getting to play
  16. ''It [was] kind of a little disheartening not being in there, but I can't really doing anything about it other than I could have done something before to prevent it,'' said Konerko, batting .194 with one hit in his last 32 at-bats. ''Now I try not to put too much into it. It's just some games. Just because it's where I live and where I'm from also, I can't make it more than what it is. It's just six games.''' Also read as ....wah wah.....big bad Jerry did not let me play where I came from.....wah wah....but that is fine......wah wah......I am a leader and that is what leaders are supposed to do.....wah wah.......
  17. Osuna has been struggling in New York (so much that he was not used against the cubs in game 2 and 3 at all, with Joe Torre preferrign Acevedo who is their Rick White) Liefer got waived by Expos Biddle is back this average self On the other hand, Colon has been one of the few bright spots this year......he has 5 CGs and would have more wins if only we had an O
  18. I think the O will get better.....especially Paulie and Crede (they can't get any worse so they have to get better) My concern is hopefully the pitchers can deliver....we have the Giants and Bo Sox soon on our schedule.....they have great Os
  19. It is amazing how themedia has brainwashed so many fans into making Frank look like a whiner Frank has EARNED the right to speak his mind....unlike the moron Paul Konerko who talked a lot last year and now one cannot even hear a peep from him when his sorry ass cannot hit more than once every 32 at bats The freaking idiots who called paul a leader are no where to be heard from either. Frank Thomas has EVERY RIGHT to not come to the bench if he in unfairly benched like he was last year

The solution is trade for KENNY LOFTON right f***ing now I said it in my first thread here......Kenny will definitely help this O and D Screw Willie and Rowand for now....let Borchard learn in the AAA
  21. Frank v/s Alex Rodrigues Year 2003 Avg .282 .300 G 57 60 AB 195 233 R 26 44 H 55 70 2B 15 15 3B 0 0 HR 12 16 RBI 28 38 BB 42 27 K 39 56 OBP .420 0.385 SLG .544 0.571 OPS .964 0.956 Now Alex has the edge in RBIs, runs and HRs (not by much), but given the team he plays for has players that actually play O other than him, he gets far more opportunities to get RBIs. The OPS and OBP are better or same for Frank Frank has more walks, less strike outs and has had far fewer at bats (some due to the more walks, some due to the team not getting much O causing less at bats for everyone on the team) In my opinion, Frank is not doing too badly with the bat, especiialy given he is just turning it around. If the other folks on our team pick their O up, Frank should be in contention for an A/S appearance. What do you guys think? I know Alex has the great D to go with the O, but I want to see Frank given a fair shot at the A/S game this year
  22. In case anyone here still is praying we are not out yet, here is the schedule for us and the twinkies until we meet them again This could be the end to our season if we do not keep pace with them or if they do not get upset by these cream puffs Twinkies: vs Col 3 games vs Arizone 3 games @ KC 4 games @ Mil 3 games ( Next vs Chi Sox 3 games) In the same span the Sox play: vs SF Giants OUCH (3 games) vs SD (3 games) vs Bos (4 games) OUCH (With the BO Sox Offense, we will get blown away I feel) @ Cubs (3 games) OUCH (Against the Cub pitching, will we even score a run?) (Next @Twinkies 3 games)
  23. I saw the game and I thought Jimenez made a super play in the field and not Jose Maybe I am wrong.....
  24. Maybe they can kill each other like they beat Choi outta there Just kidding
