  1. C Le strikes out to start the inning You suck C Lee
  2. Phillies now with bases loaded 1 out...come on Chase Utley.,...drive them in baby
  3. Since we are not trading away Magglio, there is no need to get Juan Gone now I think we should seriously consider Scott Sullivan again.....decent salary, not a very long contract and can help us get a good arm in the pen to replace Mike Jackson down the line or even Botch
  4. Man on 1st and 3rd one out top of the 8th for Phillies Thome flied out deep and just missed a dinger with one man on Still 1-1 Twinkies Phillies
  5. Time for Uribe to pad his RBI stats more
  6. Phillies threatening 1st and 3rd one out against Radke in the 7th
  7. Paul abbot has the twinkies to zero after 5 innings Abbot vs Radke 0-0 after 5 I wish we had taken a flyer when he was released by the DRays....he cannot be worse than our 5th starter right now Worst case, if we got a stud starter, we could always put Abbot in the BP instead of Botch for long relief, one sided games Maybe the Phillies got him because they had first right due to worse record than ours?
  8. All the Frank Thomas bashers can kiss ,y ass Those assholes deserve to be Cub fans....f***ing losers cannot appreciate the best White Sox player they have seen in their lifetime

    Colon

Bartolo Colon (4-5) was charged with six runs and nine hits in six innings, and was booed off the mound following Chicago's three-run fifth. The portly right-hander, who signed a four-year, $51 million contract with the Angels last December, is 0-3 over his last six starts - having allowed 32 earned runs in 32 innings during that stretch. The three home runs against Colon increased his total to 19, tying Matt Morris of St. Louis for the most allowed in the majors. Last season with the White Sox, Colon surrendered a career-worst 30 homers. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines
  10. Now that the twinkies have rallied I am sure we will rally too After all we have Ozzie ball.... "It's an attitude" :banghead
  11. Mommy said there will be days like this ..... relax Days are like this are not an issue...everyone has them....the problem is days when you should win and you get Botched.....that will cost this team big time unfortunately
  12. Have you seen our attendance compared to other MLB teams for the last 5 years?
  13. Paul Konerko has played 39 major-league games at third base, the last in 2000 when he played seven games there. That could be an option for Guillen next week in NL parks to keep both Konerko and Frank Thomas in the lineup without a designated hitter. "We thought about it," Guillen said. "We're going to face two teams that are going to run and bunt a lot. I don't want him to get hurt. I don't think we're going to do it."
  14. How does trading for Beltran make sense for the Sox? Garold is dumb as a box of rocks. If the Sox get Beltran, they will have to sit Crede on the bench this year (Val plays SS, Uribe plays 3rd B and Willie plays 2B) and basically out of Beltran and Mags one will walk at year end, mostly both. Sox should focus on pitching - one starter (Garcia or Glavine), one stud reliever, and one more solid relief arm.
  15. Here is my reasons for Paulie playing 3rd B With LH hitters, isn't he playing 3rd B anyways? If you have a team with 4 LH and 5 RH hitters, the 1st and 3rd B play both positions during the game anyways Right?
  16. Ok, now did I insult him or call him name or anything? I am just messing too now man....lighten up But when I first read those quotes, I did think I was reading one of his posts.
  17. Frank Thomas hasn't played the field yet this season, but that will change this weekend. Guillen said Thomas will play first base in at least one game against the Atlanta Braves. The Sox will lose the designated hitter next week when they travel to Florida and Montreal. "I would like to have both in the lineup, but I'm going to get the best matchups," Guillen said. "I know Florida pitchers real well, and I know who I can match up against the guys."
  18. As of today, no doubt Uribe should start but we all know he will not only not start but I bet he will not even be selected Joe Torre has always had a problem selecting White Sox players....I am still seething over the Frank Thomas non-selection quite a few times recently (including last year)
