  1. Coleman McGee Herr Clark Brunansky...Ozzie Smith and Pendleton. Van Slyke.
  2. Our Chuck not fired yet after calling out TLR. Seems he changed his hairstyle these days to cover up for it receding lol. Sox Math today one of the dumbest ones yet. At least Vaughn is still hitting. So there's that.
  3. Well, yeah the humidor in every park as opposed to only Colorado is quite obviously the biggest factor in play right now.
  4. About the only thing that's clear so far is that the White Sox ticket sales out of the lockout and disappointing offseason acquisitions hasn't exactly motivated the fanbase as Boyer anticipated. It's not Detroit and Minny have better weather.
  5. Well, if the goal was to recapture the summer of 1968 pitching wise? That said, as Benetti notes, it will start to reverse as a trend when temps return to the 60s and 70s.
  6. Season ticket holders are included, so it's tickets sold. Fwiw, Tigers are out drawing the Sox by 2500 per game and we are about 1000 clear of Minnesota although they are certain to get a big bounce when the weather improves.
  7. Twins simply can't do anything wrong right now. And Lance Lynn not being back until the end of May instead of mid-may not exactly the greatest of news.
  8. Anthony Castrovince, reporter/columnist: "Buxton might be the most valuable player RIGHT NOW. Beyond what you just shared, I saw this note from MLB Network: Buxton had a 296 wRC+ in his first 41 plate appearances. The rest of the Twins had an 85 wRC+ in 543 plate appearances. But Mark's right. Let's not do this to ourselves." Is Buxton the best player in baseball right now? https://www.mlb.com/news/byron-buxton-best-player-in-mlb-right-now Trout, Soto, Vladdy Jr. Acuna's finally back today. Ohtani. Those are basically the other options. Hosmer, lol.
  9. Friendly call there. Then missed strike three lol. Jesus 29 pitches and cruising for a four inning outing right now.
  10. Finally got the slider over. Limit the damage. Royals outscored 28-12 in first three innings. Not exactly a recipe for success.
  11. Jimenez would have missed it and ended up caught in the netting for an inside the parker due to Pollock's arm or lack thereof.
  12. Engel or Robert throw out Whitfield there quite easily...Pollock looking like Pods or Juan Pierre there lol. At least he caught it.
  13. Kopech velo down first inning in the cold...slider not finding the plate either.
  14. Yeah, it was an emergency situation...obviously. Pretty sure he didn't have to make a play.
  15. That would be more shocking than Romy...but why not throw stuff at the wall and see if anything sticks?
  16. Vending or vendoring? Physics I believe has vectoring...
  17. Jerry Dybzynski just called Tony, wants to atone for 1983! And I realize Julio Cruz died recently, but is Tony Bernazard still available?
  18. Why not Jermaine Dye to SS...? Avi Garcia in CF was a lot easier sell back in the day than Vaughn and Burger at second. Also reminds me of Mark Teahen to second...
  19. Even that makes more sense than Vaughn at second...albeit not sure if insurance on his contract would cover it.
  20. Twins will go to a six man rotation when Sonny Gray returns soon. Ryan, Gray, Ober, Bundy, Paddack, Archer. Five of those guys weren't on the team last year. Also, Michael Wacha has been incredible so far this year...and his price tag was right in the Sox range.
  21. Trayce Thompson back in the big leagues, congrats!
