  1. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Sep 9, 2012 -> 04:23 PM) We can't still have the best BA with RISP, can we? It feels like we're dead last in that category over the past few weeks We were at .294. Then it fell to .285, and that was a couple of days ago. I think it's 15/81 now for the last 9 games, since Alexei's single couldn't score the runner...should have sent him anyway and hoped the Royals actually made a bad throw for once.
  2. Boesch is stranded on 2B by Peralta after doubling. 3-2 Angeles into the bottom of the 7th. And you wonder why under 20,000 came out to this game on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, despite the Bears' game. Nobody has much faith in our bullpen holding up against really good teams.
  3. 5-10 against KC, 4-10 against DET Cue Greg775 rant. You just had a feeling this game was over when Rios hit into that DP. But you would have thought when we actually threw out Escobar we were going to get out of the 10th unscathed.
  4. Harrelson's absolutely right. We just gave away two more games this series. Eventually it will come back to bite us in the end. Yet another blown game to add to the list. At least he won't finish THIS game. OH BOY. Harrelson sighs.
  5. Of course, of course, of course. What new?
  6. WHAT JUST HAPPENED? Oh my god. Perez is scary, every time he's up there. Moreso than Butler, even.
  7. Can his contract be voided if MLB thinks he's trying to lose games on purpose (to finish them) so that his contract for next year will kick in? LOL. Well, sort of not funny.
  8. $10 million. $10 million. $10 million.
  9. The White Sox are CURSED against the Royals. Just never going to get a better chance to win a game against them than we just had. Is the combination of AJ and a lefty going to be able to keep Escobar from taking 2nd base? We'll soon enough find out.
  10. Because Rios can't bunt...and not easy to bunt off a guy throwing 100 MPH in the shadows. I give up keeping track of our anemic numbers with RISP. And Olmedo's blown bunt with DeAza at 2nd in the bottom of the 1st, the error and the baserunning gaffe. He should never play again for the White Sox.
  11. First hit of the game with RISP for the Sox. No run, though.
  12. Now things REALLY get interesting. Great 0-2 hitting by Ramirez.
  13. 3rd best hitter in the AL with RISP. Fastball hitter against FB pitcher. Dumb move by Yost, IMO. You face the cold hitter off the bench in Johnson.
  14. Doesn't matter if he gets tagged there....if he stops, he's out and the runner still is at 2B. Run hard the whole way through and the White Sox have a golden opportunity. Now it's going to take a dreaded hit with RISP. Maybe in some ways, it's appropriate.
  15. Olmedo really should be released tomorrow. Inexcusable.
  16. Please God, don't allow Olmedo to screw up MORE bunts today.
  17. Is that right? We haven't scored a run against Guthrie all season long?
  18. Smart decision not to give him any hittable fastballs after the first one.
  19. Ha! If Cain hits his 4th homer (out of what would be 8 on the season) against Crain/Sox this season...I don't know what to say.
  20. Crain with an incredible .108 BAA righties this year.
  21. Crain for Giovatella, Crain and Escobar. Let's HOPE they only need Crain for ONE batter, though.
  22. Not sure why I am surprised with Thornton out there in a tie game. Well, maybe they can still escape from this inning. Maybe.
  23. Seems the only way to score will be a walk-off homer today.
