  1. It's 43 degrees here right now. Feels like 38. I hate when it gets cold.

    Comcast

I agree that comcast is shady. I've had a lot of problems with the internet since they took over down here. The customer service is terrible. I find the TV service better than our last company though.
  3. I expected them to lose today and still win the series, but they have to be nervous. I think if Harden was going game 2 then they probably shouldnt be nervous. You just never know what Zambrano will do.
  4. You have to be worried after losing game 1 in your home park. If they lose tomorrow that is a pretty big hole to be found in. If the sox don't win tomorrow, i'd be nervous and we're not expected to win anything.
  5. I can't sleep. I just want this game to start.
  6. oh and that tbs hot corner thing is pretty cool to watch, will definitely have it on during the sox game.
  7. QUOTE (Whitewashed in '05 @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 09:35 PM) Anyone have a link to this? I tried looking for it, but I can't find the video with the 4 diff angles. I just found it on the main mlb.com page under like the main story.
  8. I want this game to start now. I hate watching all these other postseason games and waiting.
  9. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 07:49 PM) damn that crowd was DEAD tonight. didn't even try to pump up the cubs at the top of an inning. are they really in shock? are they so naive as to think it would be easy? They are that Naive. All I've heard all week is how they are going to sweep the dodgers blah blah blah. Can't wait until the World Series starts, blah blah blah.
  10. QUOTE (kyyle23 @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 08:33 PM) Wow, I didnt think the Cubs would get punked like this. Its probably a real good thing that they cut off beer sales last inning Thats just for clinching games. I think Wrigleyville will be an ugly scene tonight.
  11. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 08:16 PM) Way to high of expectations for a team that isnt really all that amazing. Exactly, the cubs are very, very good, but they aren't that much more talented than any other team in the playoffs. Cubs fans like to pretend that the 2008 Cubs are the 1998 Yankees.
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 08:00 PM) I'm tempted to peep Northsidebaseball.com. lol. I don't wanna jinx it. I'll wait until the game is over. Already have. They look like us during the twins series.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 06:21 PM) BTW, this is the worst playoff crowd I've ever seen. Agreed, the intensity is like a regular season game in August.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 06:19 PM) Assuming you and I are watching the same game I don't think there's a runner on 3rd. yeah for some reason I thought the bases were loaded, hmm, i must be crazy, noticed when no one scored on that martin fly out.
  15. haahahah. cubs fans cheering like its a homer on a ball the shortstop caught.
  16. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 04:58 PM) Im at school, so I'm watching on Stooge. Of course, as they started talking about it, and they cut out. What was the whole thought? Actually they started out by saying that last night at the Sox game the fans were into every pitch. They then talked about how the atmosphere at Wrigley is nothing like that, probably because they expect a World Series, but are nervous about it.
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 1, 2008 -> 05:48 PM) That is what I'm saying. It's super quiet. The announcers just mentioned it.
