  1. Everyone knows I've been begging for Ichiro for awhile. I don't think he would cost THAT much. To play in Chicago for him would be nice, since the Asian population here is in the top 5 most likely in the US (correct me if I'm wrong). I think he just loves to play, and if he feels that we could make the playoffs (I know I know, it's a stretch that we could be a contender), then he could sign here for somewhere around 4-5 years, and 50-60 million bucks, and I would do that in a heartbeat.
  2. God bless all the admin. here, and the website
  3. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 02:36 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> does hunter EVER drop any balls against the Sox. he makes bad plays against other teams. but rarely against us. No. 6-2, way to go AJ QUOTE(MurcieOne @ Jul 8, 2007 -> 02:38 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hate the Twins more than I hate pollution.... save the planet.... kill the twins Wow
  4. Come on Javy, get out of this inning with the score being 5-2.
  5. My brother went to elementary school with Curtis. I hope he gets the record

  7. NICE BUNT JUANY Just fly out to deep right, center, or left JO. NICE BASE-RUNNING ROB! F*** YOU!
  8. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 7, 2007 -> 04:06 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He handles the pitchers phenomenally. I'd still much rather have AJ behind the plate than Toby Hall. Exactly. A stat came on the board Thursday night vs the O's that said "When AJ catches, the Sox pitchers have a 2.96 ERA".
  9. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jul 7, 2007 -> 03:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> After a 2-5 night, he finally got his average over .200. I didn't even realize he was doing that bad until I saw this article: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=AqHB...o&type=lgns His current line: .203/.301/.399/.699 He is on pace for 170 K's, which would be a career high. Also, his VORP is 0.8 compared to 52.8 and 49.3 the last two years. That is a monumental drop off. How so you think this will affect his pending free agency? Do you think he will still command the same amount? I don't care how much $$$ he gets, as long as he isn't playing in black and white on the Southside.
  10. Brew Crew won last night vs the Nasty Nats and the Chubbies lost 8-4 to the Pirates. My friend, like I did for the Sox, drove to Pittsburgh to watch the Cubs play them. I bet he's happy the trip started off with a bang. Let's hope the Brewers can get another W tonight, because I doubt the Pirates can beat Big Z We need a Brewers smiley on here. Like this- , but make it Brewers
  11. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 7, 2007 -> 03:59 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Man, imagine how much worse we'd be without Paulie. I have a man crush on PK. My man crush on AJ is simmering down at a fast pace. 3-0
  12. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 7, 2007 -> 03:50 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Our idiotic manager wants him up though because he has "lead off experience". Yeah, some lead off experience. Great, so he hits .300 in AAA. Time to get it up to at least 270 now. I can't watch this anymore. Iguchi better be bunting here.
  13. Owens has no clue at the plate. It's OK though, because Cy Bonser is on the mound.
