I just started watching the game and saw that Garland struck out the 1st two guys this last inning on 3 pitches each. That's awesome!

Thanks for posting the artcile. It's a shame that Nanita had to get hurt this year. He was playing so awesome! What makes this worse is that we have already had Brian Anderson get hurt and is out for the year, and Ryan Sweeney got hurt a couple weeks ago and missed some playing time. This sux. Why did our top 3 prospects from this year's draft have to get hurt?

I like this move... I want to see who we gave up, but it probably wasn't much...

I know this is a Sox board, but with the game going on, I thought that maybe some Bears fans here would want to know this. The Bears traded Ted Washington to New England for a 2004 4th round draft pick. I don't have the link, but there are articles on Chicagosports.com and ESPN about it

Hell yea they should! With Anderson, Nanita, and maybe King, Kanny would have an awesome outfield. I think Kanny will be a lot better next year than they are this year because they'll probably add Schnurstein, McCarthy, Antoin Gray, the 3 OFer's mentioned before, etc.

It's nice to see Honel do well at AA, and it's good to see that Sweeney got his first extra base hit.
