5/17: White Sox Vs Guardians- 7:10P
Burger is the one guy in the lineup besides TA that realizes that you shouldn't pull a fucking pitch on the outside corner

Glad he got out of it but Lopez isnt good, you can't keep putting him into leverage innings, he can't handle that s%*#

oh wow leaving him in is blowing up all over grifols face, he's been getting through these innings with cunning and guile, not overpowering stuff, letting Cleveland see him a 3rd time through is borderline malfeasance

they aren't moving Burger up because they don't wanna send a message that everytime you struggle you get buried at the bottom, they aren't gonna move Burger up or Vaughn down until Vaughn goes on some Ventura binge or Burger turns into Robert and I don't agree with that philosophy because they're too far back to be massaging egos but it is what it is

And That's a White Sox HR powered winner and Lance Lynn 1st Win Victory.
without looking it up, I feel like the Sox have historically performed well against him the last couple years

What happened to Shane Bieber's stuff? I'm not talking about all the runs he gave up, his stuff looked very mediocre

Liam Hendriks' return appears imminent
Not sure? I'm sure he isn't ready, but the Sox are in desperation mode right now, which is why they rushed TA back.

Trading One Year Assets is Inevitable. Maybe even 2-yr
I only looked at the next 2 years lol, I'm just pissed off.

he's better than every FA for the next 3 years edit: and he might take a reasonable deal given his numbers decreasing

They need to re-sign TA to a long term deal imo, like right now. There's nothing for SS beyond CM and he's so far from being ready.

@South Side Hit Men I'm fine with giving Katz credit for Giolito, but not those other guys

yikes https://blogs.fangraphs.com/kopech-turns-to-rubble/ The fact that Katz hasn't been fired yet is actually remarkable.

I'm worried about Robert being surrounded by AAA players the next 3 years, sapping him of all his desire and drive to be at his best. and then the Sox trade him once he hits his 20m/year 2026 and 2027 seasons because he isn't performing at the level we expect, and don't get a very good return on him only to see him move on and be a beast what a cluster f***, and the fans don't deserve this s%*#.

Who would you actually pay to watch hit?
what is going on here

ridiculous (in both good ways and bad) is he gonna come back and expect to get major league hitters out throwing 92-93?
-
Will the Sox do the right thing when Eloy comes back and move Yoan to 2B?
only way I can see it working with Yoan at 3b is to keep Eloy in RF and ? at DH, yuck
-
Burger back, Pérez back down
Not with Andrus at 2b, he's clearly done
-

When Eloy comes back as the DH, you cannot platoon Sheets and Burger, that would be ridiculous and blowing an opportunity to have Yoan, Vaughn, Eloy, Burger, Robert , TA, Benintendi, Grandal and eventually Colas all in the same lineup The only way you accomplish this is to move Yoan back to 2B and bring Andrus off the bench or play him when Moncada needs a day off Will the Sox have the balls to do this? We will see how serious they are when the opportunity presents itself.
