I've noticed another huge glaring weakness in the Sox hitters, nobody other than Meidroth and antonacci can go the other way, even when it's obvious that the pitcher is just painting the outside corner, when do you see them drive the ball where it's pitched, almost never does that happen

nobody in this lineup can hit 99+ up in the zone, not a single person. I don't know how you fix this either

imagine having Cleveland's scouting and analytics team, or Tampa Bay, it's funny and shows how inept Reinsdorf has been as an owner. he could have saved so much money by just paying some smart people to fix your org but he's old as f*** and stuck in the 1970s

cleveland knows where every single guys exploitable hole is in their swing, and what's funny is you can watch these guys for 3 games and see exactly what Cleveland is doing

everyone struggles vs elite pitching, but you cannot run the same type of offense vs elite pitching that you do vs average/below average pitching, you cannot chase and whiff this much and it's the whole damn lineup

this type of offense doesn't work vs good pitching, you need to get these guys to change their approach yet they continue to do the exact same thing every single at bat

Burke has been throwing that get me over curveball for 3 straight innings, did we think Cleveland wouldn't pick up on that? Teel's dumb ass started calling it in the middle of an at bat, and when you're halfway intelligent as a hitter you realize you can just sit on that pitch because it's not a late breaker, it's just a get me over pitch, I'm laughing at Burke because he looked completely shocked that someone actually hit that pitch
