when your swing is cooked, looking to hit the ball oppo generally means you're still late but the ball ends up in LC/C/RC field. obviously some guys can't sit back on pitches to let them get deep in the zone, I'm guessing Colson isn't particularly good at it, he probably just likes to swing hard when he thinks it's gonna be in his zone

he's probably thinking, "I can give guys a day off in the Cannon start and guarantee a loss, or give guys off with Kay on the bump and possibly have a shot at winning"

the Sox right now are trying to trade games for getting their pitchers a breather, they understand that a win or a loss doesn't matter in these games with Cannon, or not that they don't matter but that winning isn't the priority (crazy that this is where we are, well not that crazy to some of us)

I voted no, obviously I've been saying this for a month now if they do make the playoffs, it'll be because they were just the least bad team that limps in it isnt controversial to say that they just don't have the pitching right now to make a serious run at anything I also don't buy the argument of "just make it in, it's a crap shoot". maybe for teams with more veterans with experience, and a decent starting rotation, this team unfortunately has neither I also admit that my predictions are often straight horse s%*# and based 100% on whatever gut feeling I have that particular day 🤔

it's so obvious that he has 1 swing only, would be nice to see him make adjustments after 2 strikes. if the coaches aren't telling him this then we need new coaches quite frankly
