I don't feel good using Kay to open for Burke, he hasn't looked good, hard hit balls, doubles, walks. I'm guessing Venable is looking at this like they are up already 1-0 in the series and the next 2 are in Chicago, but I would have rather used Schultz, he's looked great at the end of the season. Sandlin, Kay and Burke are the only three guys I think you can rely on next year for a full season of innings, maybe Sandlin needs some help getting to the end, not sure what his max amount of innings was coming into this year but he looks ready to be, at worst, an SP4 I don't bring back Davis Martin unless he's your SP5

Sox could get a haul for Grant Taylor, if they aren't sold on him being able to absorb a starter's innings for a full season, trading him this off season could help you find that next potential 2 SP and maybe more, I'm not suggesting they trade him but if someone blows you away you gotta consider it
