  1. probably gonna take 2-3 at bats before they start squaring up this dudes sinker
  2. once Acuña is DFA'd (which will happen at some point) ,why not promote Rikuu Nishida and turn him into a better version of Acuña, he can play OF and IF and is a much better and smarter hitter
  3. i never would've thought that Antonacci would end up being a better version of Meidroth, all while playing a new position that he had very little prior experience was Meidroth a higher ranked prospect by all the major sites than antonacci? after he was drafted and during his minor career
  4. Murakami over the last 30 games is looking very promising .286/.403/.625 12 HR, 22 BB, 43 K
  5. they'll keep as many of these guys around as possible, getz loves to let guys get hot so he can flip. the question is which guys are the likeliest to not amount to anything a month from now if I had to guess: Guys who won't be on the team after July: Kelenic, Grichuk, Hill, Romo Guys who provide enough value to stick around: Pereira, Hays, Acuña, Peters 50/50: Benintendi, Quero
  6. my guess is they would DFA Kelenic before Acuña, since Acuña plays IF and outfield so he provides more depth than Kelenic. they're gonna have to make some roster changes when Hays and Pereira come back
  7. here's the full translation of his note from 2009:

  19. Remember this dude? MiLB.comCristian Mena Stats, Age, Position, Height, Weight, Fanta...Cristian Mena Stats, Age, Position, Height, Weight, Fantasy & NewsTwo 60-day DL stints since 2025 for a shoulder injury. Yikes. I remember a lot of us flipped our s%*# when we traded him for Dominic Fletcher. I guess the jury's still out on if he becomes anything, typically recurring shoulder injuries and pitchers precedes being hurt and out of baseball eventually
  20. It's not a verizon issue, I'm on ATT and occasionally when I open a thread, I get a "Site error" message, and then it automatically tries to refresh the page and then it loads correctly after that. It happens on Chrome, Opera, and Brave on Android I don't have this problem on my desktop browsers
