  1. Wise is such a bad player, put pods un CF and live with the D, put getz at 2b and leave beckham at 3rd, for the love of god Ozzie
  2. Bring up Jordan Danks, I mean why not at this point, you brought up Beckham. Might as well start the train
  3. QUOTE (ChiSox420* @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 04:08 PM) The phillies really need a closer any chance we could pry Victorino away from them with Jenks? I don't think Victorino would fit well into our future
  4. lol i cant stop thinking about how pathetic it was to have the bases juiced with no outs, and we scored a run off a walk, and had no hits lol, who does that, i mean really?
  5. QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 04:00 PM) If we sweep Detroit, we'll could still be in first place by the end of the homestand. We'll win probably two of those five games, that's my generous prediction
  6. It's gonna be a rough couple of years for Sox fans after 2009, because our talent evaluator thinks Brian Anderson, Dwayne Wise, Brent Lillibridge (ARE YOU SERIOUS), Chris Getz, Jayson Nix, Josh Fields, Wes Whisler, Jimmy motherf***ing Gobble, and on, and on, and on, are major league ready, "Impact Players". That's what you said right Kenny? They were impact players. Admit it Williams, you drafted Beckham because you f***ing read Soxtalk and stole the idea from us, dips***
  7. seriously, what the f*** man we load the bases, with no outs we get one run, because of a bases loaded walk not a single player who stepped to the plate after the bases were loaded were able to get even a f***ing base hit single that right there is organizational failure, thanks Kenny, thanks for being a terrible talent evaluator
  8. 2009 Chicago White Sox are easily the worst team in baseball, at least right now anyways. There's no other team as bad as this one, and I'm being serious with that Prove me wrong? Nice swing though on that liner from Gordon
  9. odds of getting a hittable pitch on 1-2? i'd say about 20%? chances of our hitters swinging anyways? about 80%
  10. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:48 PM) There isn't a worse hitter with the bases juiced than BA. Prove me wrong. How can he, Walker hasn't taught him that .050 batting average increase swing yet.
  11. QUOTE (tommy @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:47 PM) 1ZOMG, Beckham is talking to Walker in the dugout... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo Somebody, call Jack Bauer... quick! There's a terrorist in the dugout!
  12. Would be a nice time for Brian to learn that opposite field swing from BP
  13. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:41 PM) Josh's mortal enemy: the 91 MPH fastball. I hate how he pulls his elbows back (towards the umpire) before he swings, slows his swing down tremendously on fastballs
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:16 PM) Nice grammar beats
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:13 PM) Very much so. But Walker clearly isn't getting through to them either. So what's the point of having him around? Terrible arguement there You're either wanting him fired for the production of the players, or you're not You don't get to shift to another arguement of "Well, he should be gone if we're paying him to do nothing" The only time a fan should want someone fired is if they're hurting the production of the ballclub, not because they're cashing checks for doing nothing
  16. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:05 PM) It is amazing how many people really think the Sox would have a .350 team batting average and score 12 runs a game if they had a different hitting coach. They need to look at the players. That's on KW. Agreed 100% Unfortunately many hitting / pitching coaches lose their jobs, due to the failures of the general manager
  17. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:01 PM) Fields was a strikeout machine in the minor leagues. You only think he's a star because he hit more homers than he ever had before in the majors in 2007. He's not that good. And Willie Harris, .262,.256 with the Sox in a limited role. .176,.270,.251,.259 since. Wow, getting out of Walker's grasp has allowed him to take off. I'm starting to learn how Chris Rongey feels after a loss
  18. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 03:00 PM) We could make quite the killing selling off our bullpen. Yeah, we'd trade for more Wes Whislers, Sean Tracys, etc.
  19. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 02:55 PM) Why shouldn’t he take blame for two great minor leaguers failing to carry their success into the majors? Didn’t you just argue that he deserves credit for Q and Konerko? Hell no, I didn't argue it was his due that Q and Konerko are good hitters, I was saying Quentin had primo-talent before coming here, I never said anything about Konerko Hitting coaches, I don't care which team they're coaching for, don't turn .240 hitters into .280 or .290 hitters If a guy is a bad hitter, and the fans (you) are expecting Walker to turn him into a good hitter, it's not going to happen, it's not happening on ANY baseball team for that matter
