a few things 1. matt thornton has no balls in big situations, i've seen this guy pitch scared (like masset) in situations/games like this ever since 2006 2. twins have a huge chance to win this game now IMO, bigger chance than we do 3. not having linebrink in the pen really hurts this team right now

Man I really really really think putting Griffey in CF is a huge mistake, it's a shame we can't put him at another position. only way i see this trade working out well for us is if Konerko is traded, Swisher moves to CF, Dye plays 1st and Griffey plays RF we're basically getting a guy who's absolutely brutal on defense, according to the guy that Lawrence just spoke to from Cincinatti our defense is 2nd to last in the AL, you have to wonder how Griffey being in our lineup as anything but a DH doesn't hurt the team
