  1. @The Kids Can PlayVinnie Duber talked to Grifol about moving Moncada to 2B, and he sounds like that isn't even a thought. They're good with Sheets/Burger DH platoon. I can't fathom a top tier team who would turn their best/second best offensive player into a platoon role. But this is the white sox we are talking about.
  2. https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/running_splits?player1=673357_R&player2=669394_R&player3=&player4=&type=raw&bats=&year=2023&position=&team=CWS&min=5 Burger has no place being that close to Robert in a race! ??
  3. Burger is the one guy in the lineup besides TA that realizes that you shouldn't pull a fucking pitch on the outside corner
  4. f*** yeah, getting me a Sheets jersey now
  5. Glad he got out of it but Lopez isnt good, you can't keep putting him into leverage innings, he can't handle that s%*#
  6. oh wow leaving him in is blowing up all over grifols face, he's been getting through these innings with cunning and guile, not overpowering stuff, letting Cleveland see him a 3rd time through is borderline malfeasance
  7. 5-1? alright I've seen enough, screw this team!
  8. Bell is gonna do some damage here edit: did not expect a strikeout there lmao
  9. LOL at that throw from Alberto, he might have a worse arm than fucking Benintendi
  10. he's yanking everything, I expected him to be awful tonight, dude is a mess
  11. they aren't moving Burger up because they don't wanna send a message that everytime you struggle you get buried at the bottom, they aren't gonna move Burger up or Vaughn down until Vaughn goes on some Ventura binge or Burger turns into Robert and I don't agree with that philosophy because they're too far back to be massaging egos but it is what it is
  12. without looking it up, I feel like the Sox have historically performed well against him the last couple years
  13. What happened to Shane Bieber's stuff? I'm not talking about all the runs he gave up, his stuff looked very mediocre
  14. Not sure? I'm sure he isn't ready, but the Sox are in desperation mode right now, which is why they rushed TA back.
  15. Katz was great, His Rosetta Stone was called Spider-Tac
  16. I only looked at the next 2 years lol, I'm just pissed off.
  17. he's better than every FA for the next 3 years edit: and he might take a reasonable deal given his numbers decreasing
  18. They need to re-sign TA to a long term deal imo, like right now. There's nothing for SS beyond CM and he's so far from being ready.
  19. @South Side Hit Men I'm fine with giving Katz credit for Giolito, but not those other guys
  20. yikes https://blogs.fangraphs.com/kopech-turns-to-rubble/ The fact that Katz hasn't been fired yet is actually remarkable.
  21. I'm worried about Robert being surrounded by AAA players the next 3 years, sapping him of all his desire and drive to be at his best. and then the Sox trade him once he hits his 20m/year 2026 and 2027 seasons because he isn't performing at the level we expect, and don't get a very good return on him only to see him move on and be a beast what a cluster f***, and the fans don't deserve this s%*#.
  22. ridiculous (in both good ways and bad) is he gonna come back and expect to get major league hitters out throwing 92-93?
