i think gload is similar to liefer, they both showed glimpses as backups, but we will have to see if gload burns like liefer did

even though he says he is protecting the season ticket holders by not televising home games, i am positive if he ask every season ticket holder if they cared if the home games were televised they wouldnt. he is definetly living in the 20's not the 60's

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jul 26, 2005 -> 12:44 AM) As for the topic of the thread... Hey -- while were at it, why don't we go get Eddie Belfour, too? I mean, f*** Ruutu, Bell, and Calder, this isn't their team -- let's reunite all the guys together from the mid-90s, huh? because their team was so succesful -
what exactly are sliders

this is great for pittsburgh, they were in real trouble before the lockout it's good to see them move in the right direction -

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jul 18, 2005 -> 09:07 PM) I think I pissed off the computer. I kicked it up to Heisman and was doing okay (2-1 with a loss at ASU), but then I got to Penn State. I moved the ball very well, but every thing else went to s***. I was up 21-10 at the half, despite a lost fumble and a late INT. I then pushed it to 28-10 early in the half. On the next drive I moved it about 20 yards before lofting a corner route too much and getting it intercepted. It was returned to about the 25, leading to a rushing TD. On my next drive, my RB got hit in the backfield for a 3 yard loss, and I followed it with another pick on a drag route, only this time it was taken back for a TD. The next drive, the same thing happened, putting me down 31-28. I drove the ball out to about the opponents' 40 before my RB coughed the ball up. I ended up stopping them on 4th down this time. Things got back to normal a bit, and I was up 41-31 with about two minutes left. They went into a no huddle offense and Robinson went nuts, running for about 60 yards on the drive and pitching it on an option play for a TD. I was trying to run out the clock, but then my RB coughed it up AGAIN when I got to about the 50. They scored on that drive, and I drove down inside the ten before getting stuffed on 4th and short. I almost had to buy a new controller after this game. I know Penn State's D is pretty good, but 7 turnovers? Give me a f***ing break. I started the game the same way against Purdue, up 21-3. Then the s*** happened again. I quit after their second INT runback and kicked it back down to All-American. I'm still working on sliders, will probably try the ones in this thread eventually. that's the way this game works, their offense will score a max of 2 td's each game, every other td they score is the result of an interception(which they always seem to run back), a fumble, or a kick return

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jul 16, 2005 -> 01:39 AM) I'm not so sure. After one good year (11-1) with NU, I got the #1 class with 7 five stars and 16 four stars, and I had about 6 four stars commit during the season. That shouldn't happen. same, i am northwestern same record, big ten and fiesta bowl champs, i got 8 5star recruits the next best was oklahoma with 3

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jul 14, 2005 -> 05:23 PM) I'm not up to Michigan yet, I just waxed Wisconsin. Their starting RB was out, otherwise I think I would have had problems with their running game. Penn State got one or two big runs on me. I'm definitely worried about what Michigan, Iowa, and Ohio State are going to do with me. My passing is very inconsistent, and my outside running probably isn't going to work as well against them (Penn State was the only one that slowed me down so far). I'm getting better throwing the ball but it still isn't there. I usually try to throw screen passes and some short crossing routes to try to get Basanez in the zone, then try to hit on a fly pattern. The deep balls are pretty sporadic, I either get none in a game or a ton, and when I don't get some deep balls I can't consistently hit on the short ones enough to put up good numbers. The game definitely seems harder than usual on All-American. I used to absolutely dominate everyone at least 40-10 on the older games, now my offense isn't as consistent. My guess is in another week I'll figure out all the money plays again, but we'll see. iowa sucked against me i beat them 49-7, and the only reason the scored is because they ran back a fumble. ohio state was a tight game but i ended up winning. you also mentioned that jordan got suspended for a bar fight, the exact same thing happened to me i had to bench him for the illinois game

i think eckstein sucks i would hate to have him on the team, he reminds me of willie harris with a bettter average and slower. he is the most annoying player in baseball i want to punch him every time i see him

how did crede lose to rolen

i will go back next season i do not take this lockout personally, i am just happy to see a salary and i hope baseball also adopts one

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 08:52 PM) I'm not really having huge problems with passing defense in the game. I'm letting up some bombs (which is to be expected with my secondary), but the completion percentages aren't much over 50, even with ASU's excellent receivers and decent QB. If you get a pass rush on their percentage goes down a ton. I was getting let up early, but I got a couple of sacks and several hurries and his percentage went from high 70's down to about 55 before I knocked him out of the game. Even if they still get off a good throw it seems to get dropped more often. I actually had more problems with the running game, especially if the other team goes into a spread formation. NIU was getting some huge runs against me, and even ASU's crappy runner got a couple. However, the NIU problems should be suspected since their back is a 92 and can fly, and I did manage to get a lot of stops in the backfield in both cases. your northwestern i assume, hart tore it up agianst me i couldnt stop him and michigan beat me because i threw 5 picks and they ran back a kick. i also had problem mills but i did beat penn state

QUOTE(Jimenez4MVP @ Jul 12, 2005 -> 11:32 PM) A couple things... First, Impact Players for the computer kick some ass.. Every team I have played, their impact players have been crucial to their team.. even more so, I have seen the computer bring in their impact CB in to play reciever and done good.. They give the ball to their impact players and its a real good touch.. Second, Ill tell you all now before you freak out.. after the first sim I did, Leinart won the heisman with 82 completion%.. Comp% is HIGH in the game when you look at the computer people.. thats the only problem I see.. Other than that, this is by far the best NCAA they have come out with.. great great game i have seen these exact two things, i played arizona state and i double teamed their tight end/impact player, and he could not be stopped. also in the same game they were 15/15 to start the game
