You have to overpay in free agency, just the way it is. The Rangers got better today with that signing, well see what it looks like 4-5 years from now but even then were taking about 25 million a year which might be nothing by then.

Honestly good for the rangers and their fans. I don't understand why each game doesn't have someone already looking at replays for everything and has the answer ready for when they come over to the headset. Not just for baseball, for all replays in sports. Someone could already have looked at it a dozen times and have the result ready to go. Why is this not a thing?

We can’t have Rodon at 18 million and Kimbrel at 16 million, both of those really cripple our payroll, I assume

You should really trade from strength. If you look at this team going into the off-season you could argue 2nd base and another good bullpen arm are two of our biggest needs. it’s what we gave away for Kimbrel who stunk and will most likely not be on this team next season.
