  1. Yeah, and he had nothing to do with this conversation.
  2. Personal insults will get you nowhere in life... ~_~ :puke
  3. You didn't say it, but you're definately ready to give up on Grilli. That alone implies you think he'll suck the whole year. I'd still like to see more of him, maybe even during the season perhaps.
  4. Well yeah, they sucked, that's obvious. But that doesn't mean that they're destined to suck for the rest of their lives, as you make it sound.
  5. Chill out quickman, this game doesn't decide the fate of our season. We all know Jim wasn't gonna make the team this year, he has some more seasoning to do. Next time you watch a game though, remember this, not every outing will someone give up 0 runs, hence why there's never been a pitcher with a 0.00 ERA
  6. Have you gotten the April 2004 issue yet? This one says nothing about best of the year, and MVP has the best score, with ESPN with the 3rd best.
  7. From best to worst... MVP Baseball 2004- 9.25, 9 MLB 2004- 8.5, 8 ESPN Major League Baseball- 7.5, 7.5 All-Star Baseball 2005- 7, 7.25 The one that surprised me the most was MLB 2004's review! They gave it good praises, but say it still lacks in the competitive-ness of MVP. They say MLB's career mode is very very good.
  8. Same thing as you, minus the bacardi limon.
  9. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What a bunch of nimrods!!!
  10. That's where I got and then decided to quit.
  11. I dunno dude, I'd hate to be the Reds facing the Yankees. You should just pick the best teams...
  12. I'll take the Yankees.
  13. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=fanb...nball&type=lgns He's toast..
  14. Level 35 is my current position.
  15. Do whatever you feel would be most fun, Soxnbears, I'm sure any way it goes it'll be enjoyable. We could do 2 3 game sets against each team, 1 set as the away and 1 set as the home. Records go on from there, then perhaps a mini-playoffs. The choosing of teams might be a bit difficult, however.
  16. I'm in too, I also hope there isn't as much lag. I played against some guy who was the Yankees and the game was pretty much unplayable. Guy quit and I got the automatic win.
  17. I doubt Ozzie will announce that until near the end of Spring Training, or so I'd assume..
  18. Colon would be an AWESOME #3 pitcher. 15 solid wins and a massive amount of innings eaten. You are correct about the 4th and 5th spots being key. They for sure are. I believe if our 4 and 5 spots get rolling, that could motivate (not like I think they need more motivation) Esteban and Mark to really achieve maximum output. Not to forget we just plain need some solid performences for #4 and #5. I don't think Wright's career as a Starting Pitcher is over as some may think. Neither do the Sox, otherwise he wouldn't be contending for a starting spot. But, I think guaranteeing Schoenweis the #4 spot is a bit of a mistake. He's as unproven as every other guy fighting for a starting job, and he's guaranteed #4 just because KW likes him??? Make him win his spot before you go off guaranteeing it. If Schoeneweis pitches well, by all means give him #4, but guaranteeing him it could backfire on the Sox. BTW nice job C Lee!
  19. I think we really need Loaiza to win 20 again to have a succesful season. The way you look at it, our WHOLE pitching staff is a bunch of question marks, nothing for sure. Buerhle had HALF a good season last year, we dunno if he'd get better or worse. Loaiza's only had one year of success, we cannot bank on him for sure to win another 20. Garland is a huge toss up, as is Schoeneweis, and the number 5 spot. Our staff can be very good, but also can be very bad. Only time will tell.
  20. Gload is injured too! I hope that foul ball doesn't ruin his chances....
  21. f*** IM GOING TO BE AT WORK DURING IT f***. :(
  22. 8-7. Who the f*** is pitching????
  23. Oh. Still...
  24. HAHA that's hilarious. Thanks for the laugh Pat!
  25. WOW! Ozzie's words seemed to have helped... If he can light a fire under team just like this, I seriously cannot wait for those big series against the Twins Royals and Cubs.
