Just saw it on ESPN. We got Washburn and Ortiz. This is saddening, and I don't know if they plan on using Borch or Reed. Hopefully not Reed, as I'd like to see him develop a bit more.

Our guys noticed that today wasn't Danny's day, and they helped him get that win despite him giving up 5 runs. Now we all know our 5th starter isn't going to go out and give up 2 runs/game every game. It's good that they can help their 5th starter and score a lot of runs. Even our best relievers in Marte, Koch, and in some ways, Politte, each gave up 2 runs, and we still got the win. I'm impressed by our batters.

Just what the Royals need, pitching injuries. Sucks for them.

Unless Magglio walks, and Rowand doesn't live up to his hype, these guys might be in the minors for awhile. While I admit I've grown attached to Reed, Sweeney, and Anderson, and I would despise it to see them go, we might need to since we look pretty much set in outfield. Lee will be here, Rowand is looking to have a great 04 campaign, and Magglio so far seems to be walking away after 04. So perhaps trading 1 or 2 of these mega outfield prospects for infielders or pitchers would be a good idea too? I also think all 3 of them should get some time in at AAA Charlotte, instead of coming from single A right to the majors.

Well, I just got my first car today. I still gotta go get plates for it and stuff though. It's a 93 Cavalier. Cost my mom 850 dollars. I insisted that I pay for it, but she was being all smart and stuff by saying if she bought it then I couldn't go nuts with it and it can be her backup car too. I pay insurance and gas and transaction fees and whatever else they make you pay. It's a normal blue. The normalest of blues. I love the stereo system. I turned on Pink Floyd's "Animals" niiice and loud and sat back in the chair and toyed with it for a few minutes. I've fallen madly in love with it. -_~ Also quickly preset radio stations to 97.9 and 95.9, the only good radio stations. It's got 119,000 miles on it, new tires, new battery, new starter, only thing that could be done for it that we are aware of in the future is it needing new shocks. Bought it from a really close family friend, so we trust him. What was all your guys first cars?
