Are home games going to be televised this year? I never understood why they didn't, and believe fans were being cheated. I haven't been keeping up to date on my BlackHawk news, so I'm a wee bit behind. It was news to me that Tony Amonte left a long while ago.

I think Xbox is taking control of the American video game industry. Soon we'll be seeing GTA's made on Xbox before they're on PS2. I really despite Microsoft too, even though I use Windows XP Pro. Hyprocritical, no?

I wrote a little rant about Cub fans on me and my friends personal site. I think it represents them fairly well, and tells a lot of crap that Sox fans have to put up with. For your enjoyment. Poof! "-First off, I'd like to congratulate the Chicago Cubs on what is so far an excellent run for the World Series. I in no way shape or form hate the team, except for Corky Sosa. That loser can rot in hell. It's the Cub FANS that annoy us Sox fans. They're the most annoying bigots I've ever met. You want to know an annoying Cub fan? You haven't met, ahem, we'll call him, Retardo from Algebra Class! REC for short. So, I'm wearing my White Sox hat in Algebra, not looking for trouble but still donning my White Sox faithfulness, fully knowing there are a few Cub fans in class. This one, REC, while I'm working on homework, says, "Hey, Konan, the White Sox are terrible!". I sat there, looked at him for a few minutes, and asked myself if I honestly expected more from a Cub fan. I didn't. And notice, this was BEFORE that acquisitions of Lofton, Simon, and Ramirez. This was AFTER the White Sox won both season series against the Cubs. This was AFTER Patterson and Prior got injured and their season looked to be going down the s***ter. I was astonished, although I shouldn't have been. He was a typical loser Cub fan. Now, there's my World History teacher, we'll call him Sals for short. He's one of the best Cub fans I've ever met. I don't mind him being excited that the Cubs won the NL Central. I don't mind the class having a small discussion about the Cubs game that was on the evening prior, but he tries to make Cub fans look like saints. There's this one idiot in class, who unfortunately is a White Sox fan and at every moment he gets puts down the Cubs. Me, being a REAL White Sox fan, keeps my mouth SHUT and discusses baseball whenever possible. I enjoy the game of baseball. I am currently enjoying the playoffs. Anyways, this dumb Sox fan gives Sals all the support he needs to say White Sox fans are hateful people. He says ALL, as in EVERY LAST ONE, PERIOD, Cub fans don't care about the White Sox and their fans. Pure bulls***. Sals, ever gone to whitesox.com and checked out the message boards there. Last I checked I saw an army of Cub fans atrociously putting down the Sox and their fans, and being plain arrogant assholes about it. And then there's the people who say Cub fans are the most loyal. More insane BS. The day after the Cubs beat the Braves and won the NLDS, all the fairweather fans came out of nowhere. I was astonished at how many people 'all of a sudden' decided to don Cubbie Blue. Most loyal? My ass. Sox fans may not always show up to Comiskey, but they are pretty damn loyal as well. After getting that off my chest I have come to the conclusion that 95.38% of all Cub fans should be boiled in a giant pot with a huge forest on fire under it, while they're skin and faces and eyeballs burn so badly, and then all those crazy Athletic and Red Sox fans can feast on the Cub fans bodies. Next year belongs to the Chicago White Sox. A new manager is coming, crappy players are going to be rid of, nothing but brightness shines for their future. I hope."

Yep, Fick is a pretty bad first basemen, I'd go as far as saying Paulie is much better defensively. He didn't help the offenses cause either. Its more then White Sox fans pulling together on this topic. I said something on WSI that Voodoochile didnt agree with; even remarked that he would make my first post my last. What kind of dusch bag says something like that? So when I respond to him saying that he inappropriately singled me out over others who wrote about the same thing he kicked me off. I hope your refering to those guys as the "stupid fans." I dont go into message boards looking to swear, or insult others opinions. So when I make a comment that doesnt affect either of these aspects Im going to be upset. This commradory that Sox fans had sure was upheld in that instance. Seemed to me like the moderator wanted to prove to everyone that nobody dare question him. And whats better about writing this thread, is that none of whats said will end up on WSI. Dont believe that "They have better things to talk about" or "They dont care"....its probably because if anyone would bring up the topic of a other sites problems with WSI that person would get the Ax. I'd say the Giants choked pretty badly as well. As well as the White Sox. Oh well, whatever happens with the Cubs, whether bad or good, Cub fans have something to enjoy now. Good for them. But that doesn't by any means mean that I'm rooting for the Cubs. :fthecubs
