  1. The Marlins, in my opinion, are the perfect team. Speed, defense, youth, and just enough veterans to keep the team together.
  2. I seriously doubt he'll be returning. I also don't think Kenny Williams will be pursuing any other Center Fieldersm and hopefully wants to give Rowand another year.
  3. LMAO Critic. Yeah I was laughing for a few minutes when I saw Samme hop and it didn't go out.
  4. I agree with Roman here. We don't need any more home runs on a team like this. But I would take back the Sosa/Bell trade, keep him for a few more years until he matured and became a "me" player, pretty much after the first year he started hitting tons of home runs, and then immediately traded him off for some really good pitching. If we had kept Sosa for longer than we did, we would be in better shape, but keeping Sosa from then until now would most definately hurt us in the long run. He strikes out way too much. He SHOULD have so many more RBI than he does. If he didn't strike out or popout so frickin much he could have like 140 RBI, Grudzielanek and Patterson/Lofton were on base for him so much, and he blew it most of the time looking for the home run. And in case you hadn't noticed, Sammy really isn't loved by everyone worldwide anymore, only Scrub fans. No one except the Cub fans forgive him.
  5. What a joke. I don't even know if management regrets it. I sure as hell know the fans don't care.
  6. Haha that's a bad one.
  7. I used to see him staying as the better possibility, but now I'm almost certain he's going to leave. This won't help us at all. Bye bye Bartolo. :( :(
  8. There was an undisclosed source, I'll get the article when I get home. And it was for manager, not hitting coach. I as well doubt it'll happen, but Barry Rozner said it was a possibility. Grace expressed that he wants to become a manager. He said he mostly wants to manage the Diamondbacks, but he doesn't care when, as long as he does sooner or later. Rozner also said he'd be a firey manager who would get in the face of our "boring" guys. I do think someone with experiance would be better though.
  9. Today's Daily Herald says that the Sox might have been or might soon be in talk with Mark Grace for a managerial position. I don't have the article with me because I'm at school, but if you're interested, pick up a Daily Herald.
  10. Just got done mowing the lawn, and am surprised to see the A's up 5-0. Let's hold it, but Boston has an explosive offense.
  11. TIE GAME! The REAL Braves are finally showing up!
  12. Make it 6. Hampton finally looking nice.
  13. So would Chipper, getting a GIDP or FC for a run
  14. He would fit along nicely with our team
  15. Another bas ehit, 1st and 3rd no one out!
  16. Braves looking liek complete ass. Lopez couldn't hold the ball at home, run scores. Sosa hits a fly ball that obviously flew farther then it should have, thank you cork, he obviously does that jackass hop of his, and it doesn't go out. Grudzielanek was out at home, ump calls him safe. 2-0 Scrubs top of the 1st. The Scubs are going to the NLCS, the Knaves have nothing going for them.
  17. Trade Konerko. He is too much of a streaky hitter. Plus he's extremely slow, and GIDP machine. I honestly don't want any more of him and his huge contract.
  18. Bring in Ichiro and Kazui Matsui, I say! We all know there's little to no chance we'll get either. I want a Japanese player on this team lik one of those two.
  19. This is it, can the Braves scratch two runs off of Borowski with the bottom of their lineup? I hope so.
  20. This is a good game, despite the fact that the Cubs are in position to win it.
  21. This is IT! A break. Take advantage! Or forever be remembered as the White Sox of the National League! :fthecubs
  22. You won't see Wood in the 9th. They might. He has a low pitch count.. for him I mean. He's use to the 120s.
  23. It is rally time. Wood has to be getting tired. This or the 9th, they'll have to get to him.
