  1. I know, but I did say that's what I'd like to see if Cotts shows improvement but still struggles. Either way I'm hoping this won't be an issue.
  2. That too, lol. I agree that 2 starts aren't enough, and if he shows signs of improvement I'd like to see him in the bullpen. A team in the pennant can't risk a guy that's going to walk 6 in 2 innings. With that said, I expect him to do better.
  3. I totally agree with you except all you have to do is watch this series and see how inconsistent this team is and you'll realize that they won't make the playoffs barring a miracle. Sure, they could turn it around, but don't bet on it. With all this said, I'm going to watch them, root for them, and keep hope (whatever little hope I have left). It's really disgusting that they are 2 games out of first and have little hope. I have faith, not hope (if you know what I mean).
  4. Hawk said Cotts will be starting on Sunday. This is the 2nd chance he needs. If he has the walk problem again, send him down ASAP. If he pitches well, all you Cotts haters can shut your yaps about him.
  5. We'd all be so lucky with this team. I'd rather have a consistent team with a .500 record than a team in contention that can suck so badly one day and play so well the next.

    uhh

I'm guessing they did it for the publicity. There's no other explanation unless they are truely that stupid.
  7. The Everett trade helped us, but it wasn't a need the way Rowand was hitting. The way Everett has been hitting with us, it's debatable that Rowand could have done close to as well and KW could have used those prospects to get another pitcher. Of course I want Rowand to play, just look at my sig. And anyone who thinks Lee is a good defensive OFer is kidding themselves. He is the worst. He has gotten better, but he remains the worst.
  8. But panicing is more fun. On a more serious note, you are dead right. There is a lot of time left, it's just the Sox haven't showed any signs of being a consistent baseball team. They look great for a small stretch and then they leave you scratching your head after another. If the Sox finish with consistent baseball the division will be theirs, far and away.
  9. Sorry, I just love that thing. I had to use it.

    DANMAN

I love how brutally easy that game is!
  11. What you are too good to use the other thread? You have to make your own? How insecure of you Jas. Oh and happy b-day
  12. LMAO. I guess there is nothing else to do....
  13. *Raises hand* Oh damn, I live in Chicago. Oh well. Maybe a gang of Mets fans will set fire to Yankee Stadium.
  14. Yeah, I wonder what knocked it out. A huge area is without power, quite amazing. All the people flocking to the streets. I thought it was comical to see the people walking on the highway.
  15. Yeah, bmr is probably still battling his hangover and can't think straight.
  16. That's Peoria for ya. I went there in March when my high school's boys basketball team went to state (finished 3rd). It's a nightmare driving around. Whoever designed that city is an idiot.
  17. I know, I keep telling myself that. It's gotten old, though.
  18. I remember Garland pitching very well against Anaheim too (a while ago). That seems odd that he had a great outing and a bunch of bad ones against them.
  19. That's Jerry Manuel's White Sox for ya. It sucks doesn't it? How the hell is this team in contention right now?
  20. Welcome to White Sox baseball. The team that should, but never does.
  21. Why get into first when the Sox are going to end falling back to 2nd by the next day anyway?
  22. Looking for some advice that you might use? I say feet because you can hide and s***. If they ID your car you are f***ed: see OJ Simpson
  23. That's being nice. That's pure 100% spam.
