Kansas, up 31 in the fourth quarter against ISU yesterday, passed deep. That immediately resulted in the KU QB being dropped after the play by a defensive end. Some guy is not going to be able to put up with it and he's gonna hit Brady.

Catch-All Anything Thread
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Nov 17, 2007 -> 06:26 PM) I tried to warn people in the catch anything thread a while back. Now that you have seen it, go on Youtube, and watch the reactions of people. Some are quite good. I made it about one second into the "good" part.

Worst case scenario for the Big 12 is in place, with OU likely goin down. If the South winner gets the Big 12 Championship, no national championship bid for anyone.

QUOTE(bmags @ Nov 17, 2007 -> 06:58 PM) it looks better for ISU if MU or KU take it. nonetheless don't expect our offense to slow down anytime soon. We got Blaine gabbert away from NU a couple week's ago, he's a 5 star QB, so once chase leaves, gabbert takes over. And Maclin is only a frosh. Glad to know we shouldn't even try. How does it look better for ISU if MU or KU take it? It doesn't matter either way, really.

QUOTE(danman31 @ Nov 17, 2007 -> 06:13 PM) They've been doing it all year. Bring on the motherf***ers lol. My order of rooting is OU, Mizzou, KU. We don't need Mizzou to get good. It doesn't help ISU at all.

QUOTE(bmags @ Nov 17, 2007 -> 10:28 AM) I'm not saying Mizzou is the best in the country and can beat LSU, what I want to get across is 1. if we beat both KU and OU I think we should be in the national championship. and 2. That if we do face LSU, I don't think we'd lose by >3 TDs. Our offense is a well oiled machine. And a spread offense is hard to stop in general, but add to that a great QB, WR (maybe 2 great WR's if you give me will franklin) and the two best TE's in the nation (they are incredible), and I think you at least have an exciting game. I do think whoever wins the Big 12 deserves the berth in the national championship unless all three have an additional loss beforehand. You Missouri fans are getting spoiled this year.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 16, 2007 -> 11:53 PM) Kansas I would agree on, but Mizzu is far better than you think. As far as I'm concerned the two best football teams in the country (I say this quite confidently now that Dixon is out) are Okalahoma and LSU (I said this around week 3 of the season and have stuck with that thought). Mizzu went toe to toe with Okalahoma and showed that they are in fact a top 10 football team. Kansas probably will get its asses handed to them later on this year against Mizzu and OU but bottom line, don't Mizzu is a top 10 club that would put up a fight with LSU. And ISU lost to OU by 10 and Mizzou by 14, holding a 7 point lead on OU at half. Iowa lost to ISU by 2, so that means Iowa is damn close, right? On a side note, Northern Iowa is #35 in the Sagarin, somehow.

QUOTE(danman31 @ Nov 16, 2007 -> 11:46 PM) 3 TDs is an awful lot though. No one, absolutely no one, can stop Mizzou. Their lowest point total this year is 31 points at Oklahoma when they had a horrible first half. I'm not going to say Mizzou is the best team or anything, but it's going to be hard to blow them out when their offense is this good. You know damn well Gary Pinkel can stop you guys, it's just a matter of if and when.
