If we DID get Maddux, I'd be pretty happy. He's always been pretty solid, and he'd bring a bit of publicity, not to mention professionalism and name recognition to the team.

I play JV because I start there......we play like 10 games over the year....not on the same nights as the Varsity games. I'm a scrub, so on a nite like tonite I'll get in varsity games too. It's cool, cause this conference in NE Iowa produces some good college players too. Most notably as of late Greg Brunner at Iowa and Joe Green at South Dakota State.

Smokage. We lost 78-37. Not much to say on this one. I got in with about two minutes left and made one of two free throws. Waverly just absolutely dominated us at all aspects....tore our 3-2 D to shreds, ran all over us in transition, and took just beautiful shots. They are ranked number five in Class 4A, the class above us and also the largest class. They are also our most hated conference foe.

Back to the subject.... Big XII kicks ass...
