  1. Apu, What do you think about Harkin possibly being a VP candidate?
  2. As long as his last name isn't Lieberman or Sharpton I think he'll be OK.
  3. It's really too bad a Sox player isn't in the derby...
  4. Zito should demand a trade to the Sox because of this! There was my pipe dream for the day....

    Bonds

The only thing for me against Bonds, which can be a big thing, is the fact that he just won't interact with fans most of the time. I was at a Cards-Giants game, and he ignored anyone who asked him for an autograph, etc. This was before he hit 73. Looking at my autographed balls above the computer, the nicest guys I've seen were for the Blue Jays, Kelvim Escobar and Aquillno Lopez. They stayed out and just chatted with fans, and signed everything. Also, Keith Foulke was nice while he was in Chicago, as was Jeff Bagwell at a Brewers game. Still, the nicest baseball player I've ever talked to is Mike Sirotka. I'll wish him well no matter what uniform he puts on.
  6. I agree. Also, like mentioned earlier...Stewie's shudder after he sucks on Peter's nipple comes to mind...

    Ahem...

I do not advocate trading Lee....I'm sorry, but too often he's the only one that plays hard.
  8. They look spiffy, Spiff. Hows about my boxscores? I've been pretty diligent....I also did a lot of the schedules and typing up articles. So who all is doing work for FS?
  9. No...we have like 7 FM stations....seriously...

    New forum?

I don't know if we're quite ready for that one....we don't want Murc posting a bajillion times a day...
  11. He will be a position player exclusively, unless some situation warrants that he has to pitch.
  12. I bet he did it in the Cartman voice, too. Sweeet.
  13. It may just be me but I don't think a pick after the game counts...
  14. Now it's sounding like he will be in Bristol. He will be at the All-Star Game, as KCRG-TV showed he has infield box tickets....
