It's how you give away wins. That's not on the manager, that's not on the pitcher, that's on the dude in the field. Guys can criticize not pulling Dallas earlier, but Foster pitched out of it and the defense let the team down.

Both Bummer and Foster have pitched us out of jams in the first two games and both times the defense has given the pitcher the middle finger.

Certainly don't hate him in big spots, and he doesn't seem to hate big spots. Another chance to show he has stones tonight. Our defense is fucking awful so far.

Stone's right, Trout never did get a read that at bat.

I wish I hated Trout, but I can't. Simply the best in the sport. As Jason and Stoney said, up six runs with no one one base is about the only way to face him. What a baseball player.

I haven't felt as confident in a call-up as I do in him. All the at bats, including in spring this year and last year, showed an advanced approach at the plate. He looks like a royal pain in the ass to pitch to, and we don't have enough of those.

Vaughn could have a Ventura start at the plate and I'll still believe in him. Watching his at bats makes me believe.

I love this success for him.
