Yea, I suspect they were asking for Carlson to be included and Getz balked. We’ll see if his power comes around and his trade value climbs. In one way I don’t mind prospect hugging but in another way… if they’re going to go for it this year… they should have gone further at the deadline. On a scale of 1 to 10 of deadline aggression, Getz gets a 3.4 this year… and who knows… next year this team may find itself sitting at third place in August of 27… if there’s even baseball.
