I still am greedy and am targeting 93. Still think we have our hottest streak ahead of us. Imagine if they do indeed bring in two starting pitchers, a catcher with a nice RH bat, and call up some arms to help in the pen. It could really inject life into this already lively bunch and give us the assets necessary to really get on a big winning streak for the first time all year. Really want to see a 8+ game winning streak.

Before taking hi8is jr to see Spiderman I was able to watch the game up until the 4th. Midway through the movie saw it was still tied going into the ninth… Then the internet died in the theater. For nearly two hours I had to suffer not knowing the fate of this important game… by the time we left the place and my service cleared up, my breath was taken away to see we won again in extras. Back home now watching the replay from the 4th onward. Good times to be a Sox fan continue and as I’ve been harping since our “first big test” in June - this division is coming down to the wire and will be determined by how the inner-division games go. Would be MASSIVE of Getz and crew could toe the line of protecting the farm, adding for both this stretch run and post season, while also improving our weaknesses for the next couple of years. Big four days ahead boys and girl… LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! JUST FUCKING DO IT - DONT LOOK BACK - AND GET ER DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sox listing of Carlson is the second highest rated prospect on that list behind the Dodgers Hope and a Mariners spec that can play second and right field. With Seattle not looking for pitchers, I say we’re sitting pretty if we do want to make a big splash. And yes - the rankings are negligible at best but high level, it’s something to take note of.

I’m really tired of lineups that don’t include Sam and Colson in them. Both of those guys are everyday players in my book. Grich, Acuna, and Everson… prove me wrong!

Another route I could also see them take if Holmes doesn’t work out is something like Miller from Seattle for Chase plus prospects conditionally with Luis Arraez in the Ray deal. While everyone is focusing on Detmers from the Angels, I’m hoping they also take a swing at Kirby Yates. I think we can finally give an assessment on this poll and the answer is YES… IF you’re going to get at least two starting pitchers and a catcher AND you’re keeping the farm strong. Those are some tough constraints and if it’s not able to be done, then get as close as possible to it but do not sell the farm.

I seriously doubt Detmers is moving anywhere, let alone to our Sox.

I have a confession: I turned the game back on when it was 4 - 1, right when Sam hit a bomb and got to see Mune follow him up. So I was glued to it the whole time after that. Wow.

I still don’t think they’ll hit the over on 4 for base runners. Time to start watching the twins scoreboard too.
