  1. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 14, 2013 -> 12:38 PM) Oh I see. In this particular case, black people shouldn't be allowed to use the legal system entitled to others. They need to just get over it. Thanks for the head's up and advice. Marissa Alexander should accept her 20-year prison sentence for not killing anyone while defending herself and we should get over it, because that was the verdict
  2. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 14, 2013 -> 12:31 PM) The NAACP wants a civil case brought on by the DOJ not my fault you have no clue about it. They don't "need" to accept anything if they don't want to, lol at that condescending nonsense. I wonder if there were people who said that after the Emmett Till verdict
  3. If you read the comments on an article hopefully you saw why I made the post I made on the previous page. Most of time people know when they want to say something racist in public they need a fig leaf or some kind of plausible deniability along with it, but here, for whatever reason a lot of people just decided to ditch that entirely and say overtly racist things. I actually prefer it that way.
  4. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jul 2, 2013 -> 03:01 PM) Ah, thanks for reminding me why HTC shouldn't be trusted, HTC. http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/07/htc...ontent=My+Yahoo They make great phones, but they give you one solid update and that's it. Meanwhile Apple still is sending updates for the 4S.
  5. T-Mobile is pretty fantastic in Baltimore and DC as long as you don't leave the metro area, and it's EDGE. It's nice that they're finally getting LTE and its really fast even with 1 bar, I see it on LTE in more places every day, but those rural towers could really use some HSPA, let alone LTE.
  6. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jul 5, 2013 -> 01:44 PM) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neocolonialism 'Colonialism' doesn't refer strictly to the literal establishment of colonies by foreign powers. There are good reasons that many Latin American countries are not particularly fond of the US, and it's not because they're all the same race. That was a really, really silly thing to say. To be honest, we f***ed them over pretty bad for a long time. What with our supporting their friendly dictators who let us take what we wanted and all. Btw anyone who wasn't down with this arrangement is a "socialist."
  7. It's nice that there's so many people who feel like they can take their filters off and let me know what they really think of me, as a black man (they may or may not notice they took the filter off, but it's off)
  8. How does this f***ing loser keep getting jobs? http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22815...f-Rivers-Leaves
  9. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 14, 2013 -> 09:29 AM) Ginobli played gooooooooooooooood last night Yeah, for Miami Taking those hurried, unnecessary, off-balance threes was some Nate Robinson ass s***.
  10. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 14, 2013 -> 09:24 AM) While I know you already know this, others may not, so I'll post it anyway. Private/incognito browsing isn't actually private or incognito to anything but your own PC/device. The only thing it actually does it make it so your wife/girlfriend/children cannot see what you've been browsing, leaving no history, recording no cookies, etc. It doesn't, however, change the way tcp/ip works, and your IP address is still coming across the internet as it always does...and that IP address CAN be tied back to you/your PC/device, quite easily. I can't remember if it's actually Chrome or Firefox that has this warning... it sounds like kind of a Google-y thing to do

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 13, 2013 -> 10:13 PM) what could possibly go wrong with arming revolutionary islamic militants? It would be easier if there was an example in the relatively recent past, like say within my lifetime for example, where we did this and it went bad so we could see whether to do it or not
  12. Rick Santorum thinks the RNC botched the "You Didn't Build That" thing “One after another, they talked about the business they had built. But not a single—not a single —factory worker went out there,” Santorum said at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference in Washington, as quoted by Politico. “Not a single janitor, waitress or person who worked in that company! We didn’t care about them. You know what? They built that company too! And we should have had them on that stage.” So in other words, they are supposed to completely agree with Obama and make his entire point for him. Moron.

  14. When is the last time SCOTUS made a major decision that wasn't total horses***
  15. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 12, 2013 -> 09:53 PM) Yeah, most of us are just looking up porn...in all seriousness I'm convinced private browsing was invented specifically for this.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 12, 2013 -> 08:57 AM) Yeah, I was figuring that your life was getting interesting right about now. Certain unnecessarily difficulties. It's kind of a pain in the ass, not a welcome distraction at all.
  17. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 12, 2013 -> 08:49 AM) I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, all things considered. If you can't talk about it publicly, PM me some info, please. You can email me about it too (myname@gmail.com), it's just I don't want to do it on my work computer.
  18. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 12, 2013 -> 10:18 AM) Honestly though, what am I going to do? Go live off the grid somewhere? I understand the surveillance aspect of it all, but they don't give a s*** about the grunts like us... This is actually true... Don't really give a s*** if you're downloading torrents, looking up porn, cheating on your wife, etc. none of this has anything to do with what I'm looking for (furthermore its illegal, you need a warrant for this stuff)
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 12, 2013 -> 09:34 AM) I always figured it wasn't a coincidence that he first showed up here in 2007 right after the Congress legalized everything. Well played, sir
  20. I 1) am not really supposed to be talking about the topic and 2) generally just got tired of talking to deaf ears about electronic surveillance. The vast majority of people don't have the slightest clue what they're talking about and don't know where to start.
  21. Not that I mind. But while he continues to do this, we need to slow down (or preferably stop altogether) the MJ comparisos.
  22. I thought LeBron was past this s***.

Weak third party support for Nintendo has been an issue since the late 90s after they fell off with the Nintendo 64.
  24. Cutler not so subtly threw Tice under the bus while praising Trestman. He didn't respect Tice, it was clear, and I don't blame him really. Why should he?
