  1. Just got done doing the last presentation of my college career, glad that guys showed up to play today.
  2. QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 4, 2010 -> 10:52 PM) Quick question. What was Gavin's pitch count after the 6th? I was literally screaming and calling Ozzie inappropriate names (my friend laughing) when he left him out there in the 7th when Gavin had literally nothing that whole game and managed to put up a 6 IP 8 H 2 R 2 ER 2 BB 2 SO line before getting slaughtered again. I saw the Getz hit, and thought Ozzie had enough sense to pull him afterwards when I turned on the dvd to do the Insanity workout. I actually went to the gym after 6th inning, and I notice a weird pattern here...
  3. Hey, now that's an easy inning. That's the Scotty I know.
  4. Ok this is OzzieBall at its finest, and this run is all JUAN PIERRE still not sure if I like it.
  5. I think Gordon just sold a walk there.. Let's get some Andruw!
  6. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 4, 2010 -> 08:00 PM) What did Konerko do? Gameday makes me think he snagged a ball, touched 1B, and threw it home and AJ made the tag? Ya, but it was a hard hit ball, not an easy play.
  7. How does he do that to himself? Is he a mental midget or a guy with balls? Bases loaded 3 times and pretty much gets out of it 3 times?
  8. Whats the Royals record for most hits in a game?
  9. I still don't know how to feel about Teahen, he's having some brutal ABs lately.
  10. Way to man the heck up Gavin. Let's score some runs and hopefully Floyds stops f***ing around.
  11. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 4, 2010 -> 07:37 PM) Jim Thome - 39 years old - $1.5 salary - .278 AVG, 5 HR, 15 RBI, .409 OBP, .630 SLG, 1.039 OPS, 0 SB, CAN'T PLAY DEFENSE Andruw Jones-33 years old - $.5 salary - .284 AVG, 8 HR, 13 RBI, .400 OBP, .687 SLG, 1.087 OPS, 5 SB, CAN PLAY 3 OF positions, and well. Stop whining. Ouch. So true.
  12. QUOTE (joejoedairy @ May 3, 2010 -> 11:31 PM) sox and hawks win. peavy looked dominant. we scored without hitting homeruns. great day Alexei called and well.. hes not happy with you sir.
  13. Peavy looking good in the first, lets score runs, early and often.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 3, 2010 -> 09:08 AM) If you think that was the only thing going on with Swisher...you're wrong. Care to elaborate ?
  15. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 3, 2010 -> 05:13 PM) was wondering where he is, too I think Ozzie is riding Kotsays mild (can't say hot) bat after his decent game in NY in which he homered, while giving Quentin a game to fully rest his hamstring. I don't see a problem with this and expect Carlos to be back in the lineup tomorrow.
  16. Pierre LF Beckham 2B Jones RF Konerko 1B Kotsay DH Rios CF Pierzynski C Teahen 3B Ramirez SS Peavy P EDIT: Updated with field positions.
  17. He needs to catch that. I'll be happy if we keep them to single digits here.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ May 2, 2010 -> 02:05 PM) Texas, the Cubs, and Florida can really hit. I can't believe Atlanta has played as poorly as they have this season. Maybe Peavy can shine against the NL like he used to. Bottom line is, we have to win games against our divisional foes. Damn you Swisher, he's having a good series afterall
