  1. Ok, the Cubs are on it, now I like this list
  2. Milwaukee was 6th in bullpen ERA (3.63 to 3.06 for SD), so its not like there's a big downgrade. The Cubs also only scored 6 runs in 3 games. If the Cubs average 2 runs per game again they'll be swept.
  3. Why do ESPN announcers not know left field from right field? That's the second time I've heard "left field" when the ball went to right.
  4. San Diego was absolutely awful offensively this series and the Cubs still barely won. Milwaukee should be able to handle them.
  5. King and Miller should’ve been first up for them, and let them go as long as they could. Probably won’t matter though as the Padres can’t score runs
  6. This is just two mediocre teams. Tough series to watch.
  7. Cleveland, you REALLY need to be able to play defense if you're going to rely on pitching and can't hit.
  8. Oh come on guys. Let's draft just one more first round WR or TE. We can quit whenever we want!
  9. I think I had the Sox in the mid-70s for wins in 2024, so... oops.
  10. Not like Justin Turner knows what he's talking about or anything...
  11. Nice defense
  12. Is Miller going to be available tomorrow, since he's going to be close to if not over 30 pitches?
  13. I could give Counsell s%*# for not taking out Imanaga for a righty to face Machado, but you have to expect that one of your best pitchers can get one out against a guy who is dangerous but hadn't done anything in this series up until that point.
  14. .216/.262/.372 in the second half
  15. And there's some runs!
  16. When he's good you can put up with him. When he's all defense no bat like he is right now...
  17. Likely that one of their relievers is gonna struggle, and if the Padres can't tack on more runs they're gonna lose
  18. This is an incredibly quick hook for Cease after he made PCA look silly in his first at-bat. Plus, PCA has been godawful for the entire second half.
  19. Oh you're right. Guess they don't switch locations for the Wild Card series. Oof for the Tigers.
  20. How do you give up 6 runs to a team that hit .220. Momentum going to crush the Tigers unless home field can reset it.
  21. That groundout by Arraez might've scored a run through a drawn in infield if he did
  22. That's only like $50 more than lower bowl seats are at Comiskey for a Yankees, Cubs or Red Sox game.
  23. Baez with a HUGE hit to score 2 EDIT: Never mind, Detroit runner thrown out at third before the second run scored. I see why these guys were the worst team in baseball in September.
  24. If the Padres can somehow win this one I like their chances at home. I just don't see it though.
