This is where Ozzie is going to get in trouble.
He's not going to be able to randomly say stuff and then not have the press want to follow up with him. That's where he's going to be asked non-baseball stuff that could become a distraction to his job.
I don't like this, and I don't blame the Sox brass not wanting him to have website either. Just manage the team, and keep the tweeting on the light side.
Split squad vs Angels
Peavy starting
Danks LF
Beckham 2B
Quentin DH
Pierzynski C
Ramirez SS
Rios CF
Kroeger 1B
Morel 3B
Gartrell RF
So the rest of the starters are in Vegas.

Yeah, but the joke is that Samuel Jackson messed up his lines and called him Brad.....even though his name is Brett

teahan should stop tweeting and start hitting
Nobody on the team with that name.
Teahen will be fine. Not worried about him at all. .270/20/75. Decent 3rd base, and some big hits batting 7th or 8th. That's all I'm asking from him.
Today's game is on whitesox.com. A Bill Melton game...I'll pass.
Garcia on the mound vs. Indians.
Lineup: Pierre, Retherford, Quentin, Konerko, Kotsay, Rios, Ramirez, Teahen, Castro.

Not very exciting cuts - none of those guys were ever intended to make the team this year.
Well, yeah. We already know the 13 position players making the team, so it was just a spring training note. Not intended to be exciting.

Our pitching staff is off to a blistering start. The only starter to allow a run yet is freddy. Most of the bullpen looks pretty golden too.
Why is Randy Williams still not on the roster?
He is on the 40-man. That's a mistake on the website.

I'm not saying he's good - I'm saying I just get the impression that the Sox like him.
Mouton played in the bigs for several years. If Gartrell does the same, he should consider himself fortunate.

I think if Gartrell hits well in AAA in 2010, he gets a call-up before De Aza does. I've heard noises through some of the Sox' trumpeters that make me think they like Gartrell more than most non-team people do.
Gartrell seems like Lyle Mouton Part II.
