  1. Tiebreakers go to... Sox/Min...White Sox Sox/Cle...Indians Min/Cle...Twins Twins are a half game back, but they have to win it outright, so it’s really like they’re 1.5 back. Sox just need to take care of their own wins. Tonight would be a good confidence builder.
  2. Fangraphs has the Sox at 68.1% to win the division.
  3. If the Dodgers don't blow a 4-run lead on the A's... TB 36-20 (7) Sox 34-21 Oak 33-21 (6) Min 34-22 (4) NY 32-23 (4) Hou 28-27 Cle 31-24 (3) Tor 28-27 Tor at TB; NY at MIn Cle at Sox; Hou at Oak
  4. Quite frankly, that’s what’s missing for me. These games suck, but it really doesn’t hurt in the usual baseball way. And conversely, the last Twins win last week would have been that much more enjoyable.
  5. Wasn’t it over 90% winning the division the day the Sox clinched the playoff spot? Now what is it?
  6. 4-3 Tigers, bottom 10. Expecting...well, you know.
  7. The week started needing to split with Cleveland and win a game against the Cubs, with just one loss by the Twins. That hasn’t changed, but damn it’s going to be tough. Giolito needs to be an ace, and the bats have to do enough.
  8. A’s facing the Dodgers. A win moves them up to 2. But hopefully we don’t fall to the 7 seed in the next five days...we better not.
  9. Everyone wore their jeans like that in 92. Dark times.
  10. Crochet needs his first show win, so score 2-3 runs now.
  11. Besides the weather factor, today is like June 1st in a regular season. Sometimes guys have bad starts or bad months out of six month season. Besides Encarnacion, who is probably at the end of the line, I’m not reading too much into anyone’s season. Hell, Mazara will probably get non tendered, but could be all star for somebody else in 3 years.
  12. How about a leadoff double from Yoan, just for old times sake?
  13. I printed out the 2021 schedule last night, and the spring training schedule came out last week too. All I can say when I look at that schedule is, “Really?” Hoping for the best, but the Sox being in Anaheim on April 1st is a big “I’ll believe it when I see it”.
