  1. Oh my, that slide was terrible. Don’t hurt yourself.
  2. Wednesday’s game has been moved up to 1p
  3. Don't think this one is going 6 or 7 innings. Think they said 3 innings. Tomorrow night's game on NBCSC will probably get rained out or moved up to an earlier time,
  4. 4 starts with a 5 ERA before his 25th birthday. Looking forward to moving on to players that want to play this year. Should be fun without him.
  5. Don’t care about tomorrow, but Wednesday and Thursday night, how about they go with white vs black jerseys with uni numbers on everyone? ?
  6. Byron Buxton won’t be playing opening day vs the Sox. Carted off the field with another leg injury.
  7. Updating number 2- Dane Dunning making his debut at some point, and impressing.
  8. Crochet interview around 19:30. He's hanging in Schaumburg getting ready for the taxi squad.
  9. The “no spitting” thing is almost impossible to enforce.
  10. Nice that Robert, Madrigal, and Vaughn are getting this home park experience. They'll feel at home once it's for real.
  11. Kopech would be 30-some months between starts. I certainly wouldn’t count on him showing up to Glendale in February ready to start 32 games. We’ll see.
  12. If he’s back next year, it’s bullpen. Giolito, Keuchel, Rodon, Cease, Lopez, Dunning, Lambert, Stiever, Crochet, maybe Gonzalez again. We’ll get by.
  13. 3 scoreless for Dunning. Sounds like a rough outing for Gio. Vaughn homer.
  14. Not in the main camp. Don’t know about the taxi squad.
  15. Hopefully Dunning/Lambert are good enough to fill in at some point. It’s got to be tough to throw in scrimmages against veteran teammates. You want to make pitches and be aggressive, but you also don’t want to mess up and break a guy’s hand or something.
  16. Cooper’s comments were based on what Kopech has put out there publicly in the past, so I don’t think it’s that bad. But he would have been better off just saying, “we wish him well and hope he’s back next season. But for now, I have to worry about the 20-some pitchers we have here and get ready for the season.”
  17. It’s complicated for the front office and teammates, I’m sure. Obviously, they wish him the best as a human being, but you never know what they’re saying away from media. Hopefully six months from now, everything is better or getting better, and he’s ready for a normal spring training with the Sox. But you certainly couldn’t blame the front office if he’s no longer part of the rotation plans in 2021.
  18. Don’t disagree, but how’s the Marlins system looking?
  19. I’m calling this a convenient excuse. Look, he doesn’t want to be there, for whatever reason. Hope he’s fine or will be fine by February, but the rehab angle, I’m calling bullshit.
  20. Completely agree, and that’s why I think he’s now a bullpen pitcher. He could be a dominating closer, which would be fine. But no way would I pencil him in the rotation for 2021. Maybe they still will, but I’d be very surprised.
  21. Then he would get service time, correct?
