I think the tension between the players and KW has been building for awhile, and this incident was just the straw that broke the camels back.
I think it's more of, he's not there as much as Team President (Hahn is), and he acted above Robin and Rick.
The relationship between Kenny and the players isn't what it once was, so they don't trust him.

I don't know why everyone is ripping Sale or even Eaton. Sale is doing exactly what you want a leader of the clubhouse to do, bring the team together and stick up for family. KW appears to be a complete ass and has cause this entire situaltion. It even appears he manipulated the situation to his liking by tell the players the coaches had a problem with Drake, telling the coaches players had a problem with him, and telling everyone that this decision came from the owner. Sale better damn make some waves bc of this and he is 100% correct that is should have been KW walking of the locker room and not LaRoche.

It does make me laugh that they're still going around to players asking if anyone had an issue with Drake.
Yeah, that will go nowhere. You have to retire like Dan Haren, and then tweet about it.
If there was ever a time to have a "players only" meeting, it sounds like this will be the time. They need to get it out there, get it over with, and get focused on the next couple weeks before leaving.
I gotta say...as weird as all of this is, couldn't they just let spring training end with the kid there, and just say, "No kids travel with the team this year, unless it's a family trip."
That would have been a better compromise, but whatever. f 'em.
It's a real indictment on the organization not setting the right tone for a long time. This is what you get from entitled players like Sale and Eaton. What a joke of an organization.

If/when Sale leaves, he's absolutely the type of player that will go to the media and light this organization up. I'm not saying he will be right, but it will happen.
And the thing is, he has no idea what a good major league clubhouse is like. He's been around a country club for six years, so now that they want to dig in a little, he throws a fit.

Just trade him before he blows his elbow out. Haven't won crap with him here anyways.
I wouldn't go that far, but he is shaping up to be another Felix Hernandez.

There's one question I had answered this morning.
If Sale has them in his locker, he's just trying to pick a fight with somebody. Go for it. Get it out of your system.
