Don't know if anyone has talked about this yet but in this weeks Sports weekly has a list of teams Sheffield says would interest him when he becomes a free agent. The list was The Yankees, Rangers, Padres, Orioles, Cubs, Mariners, D-rays and The White Sox. Now I know we won't get this guy I was just surprised as hell to see a star player actually list the Sox as a team that he would want to play for. I mean it doesn't happen very often it seams.

Blame the players that don't seem to care, not the guy sitting up in the suite with his head in his hands. His head is in his hands to hide the laughter as he laughs all the way to the bank. With the attendance the way it's been so far, I doubt his deposit slips at the local bank have very many 0's on them. It's just an all-around sad display of baseball by, supposedly, the 3rd largest market in the country. We deserve infinitely better. You're right he could be making alot more, but I bet he is still making alot and taking little or no risk to do it.

I agree 100%, the only thing JR cares about is his wallet. Even if KW and JM were fired JR would just go out and find the cheapest possible replacements without giving a thought to weather or not they are they are capable of doing the job. Time to retire and enjoy those sunset years JR.

Well I still like Jose and I do belive that he is by far our best option at the current time. However if we can get someone better I'm all for it.

I know there are Jerry Manuel backers out there, but those things point directly to leadership. Add in the lack of talent and here we are at 20-23. Has anybody told you that you make alot of sense Bmr? I know some here think KW is the problem, but I've been saying that the fundamentals, or lack of fundamentals in the White Sox case, falls directly on the shoulders of JM. JM is a s*** manager and it is time for a change. Don't stop at Ward. Don't stop at JM either, the problems go all the way to the top. We need an owner that actually gives a damn. It's just to bad JR can't be fired.

Tiger stadium, Safeco field and I guess I'll throw in the Skydome even though it doesn't even resemble a ballpark. Damn my list is kinda pathetic, Guess I'll have to work on that.

You can all give me the credit for this win. I put the rally cap on and things turned around. Now as for sundays loss I will take responsillity for that too, I bought a new Sox hat outside the stadium and it fit me better so I switched to that one for sundays game. I should have known better, never f*** with a winning streak even if it's only a one game winning streak. Anyway my first Sox game was a winner so I guess I should be thankful for that and I have to say that Safeco is a really nice ballpark I recomend checking it out if you have the chance.

i think the Bottom line is that JR has done some good and some bad for this team but it's time for someone new to be in charge.

The thing I hate most about their name change is that I won't be able to call them the blow jays anymore. Anyways I guess they feel Jays would appeal more to the kids and sell more merchandise.

The Blow Jays are talking about changing their colors for next year to Black, blue and silver. Also they want to change their name to just the Jays. Anything to make an extra buck.

After tonights game I am once again excited to be seeing them in Seattle this weekend. I leave for Vancouver tomorrow and drive down to Seattle for Saterday and Sundays games. Go Sox!
