  1. If he'd have brought Gordon in, he'd deserve to be fired on the spot, and I would have driven to the game and beat his ass personally.
  2. Fluke? I don't think they were a fluke cause they didn't do anything. Wow, they were competative for a few months. I think the Angels are the team most deserving of being called a fluke. The Royals just hung on well the Twins and Sox struggled.
  3. I know I remember seeing Paniaqua warm up. Bet he's just happy to be back in the bigs.
  4. Does Koch ever pitch anymore? Has Paniaqua even pitched yet?
  5. Ha, you get an A for effort. I think it's just one of those things you have to see. I haven't gotten to see Sullivan pitch for the Sox yet cause games aren't on everynight like over the summer. Thanks anyways.
  6. Yeah, that wasn't there when I posted, it just beat my post up. Sorry, I have mandatory study for student-athletes till 9:30pm (eastern time). I just got back and it's a pain to shuffle through all the past posts to find out score and inning.
  7. Ortiz is a much different player than Jones. I would take either of the guys, don't get me wrong, but I would much rather have Jones. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I could see him in centerfield. What about Shannon Stewart? Is he not a FA after this season too. How about him in black pinstripes after this season?
  8. Sorry to say, but a pitcher won't win the MVP unless he has an unbelievable season and no everyday player distinquished himself from the bunch. Frank is the only real Sox candidate. I'd love to see Mags have a chance, but he would need more rbi's, as DonkeyKongerko said earlier. A list of candidates would have to include: Frank Thomas, Manny Ramirez, Carlos Beltran, Alfonso Soriano, Carlos Delgado, Vernon Wells, Bret Boone, Eric Chavez, Miguel Tejada, and the ever popular Ichiro.
  9. Yeah, I believe their family name is first (where ours is last), and thier individual name is last (our first name). Ichiro Suzuki is his name, where his children could be Ichiro Kaz, etc.
  10. I think we have a good shot at either Tejada or Matsui. The Angels can't sign both of them. I think the Sox should make a push for one of the two. Tejada is a special player, I don't know a thing about Matsui. The Sox starting pitching has two questions: Colon and the fifth starter. I would rather spend less money on a work-horse like Livan Hernandez or Sidney Ponson. Obviously we need help in the bullpen; you can get quality players hopefully decently priced. Everett is gone, we have to decided between him and Carlos in LF. We could also work some trades in the offseason. Why not go out and get a pitcher who had a decent year and make him our number four starter. I am fine with seeing Garland as our third starter. I think it's about time.
  11. You guys are lucky. I get bashed up here in Michigan for being a Bears fan. It doesn't help they absolutly suck. Lions fans are bashing me. What the f***.
  12. I do agree, it's a very nice thing to do play-by-play. I don't want to have to get it from CBS or all those cause they really don't tell ya anything with emotion. Thanks again.
  13. Yes, way to go Bartolo. Too bad Gordon had to even warm up today. I like how this team has been playing though. Let's keep the momentum rolling.
  14. I keep having flashbacks of dominate home run hitter Carl Crawford's walk off home run a few months back.
  15. Who do we have in our pen who is fresh and doesn't suck. I'd be pissed to hear Koch is going to pitch.
  16. Um, score? I don't get the game on TV or radio overhere. GO SOX!!!
