What the hell. We can't be too of he worst teams in baseball. Jerry Manuel needs to go now. f*** him. He can't stick to a lineup, and messes everything up. Get out pitchers some f***ing run support. Our offense is awful. I saw option PK to Charlotte too. If he won't go, wave good bye to him. Before yesterdays game, DJ interviewed him, and he said he wanted to to what was best for team to win. Well, hes one of the reasons we lose. Leave Frank at first, geez. This team teased us for a little while. I say ship Bartolo and a few other of the FA's and get guys who can play for us in the years to come.

Yeah, but I think MB would pitch to win. Why would he mess his stats up so his favorite team growing up could win. Wow, his favorite team growing up was the Cardinals. He also has alligence to the Sox. He came up throught the Sox system, and has become an ace here. Most people don't get to play on their favorite team growing up. I remember reading a story in Sports Illistrated last year about Torii Hunter. It said he went to the mall after he was drafted by the Twins, and no one had a Twins hat. I'm sure he grew up a Twins fan.

It's luck the little child only got burned. I assume more people could have gotten hurt alot worse. There is no way to prevent someone doing this. Someone could have gotten badly hurt there, and it is a joke someone would do that. I am glad it didn't happen at the Cell, because we would never get any event such as the All-Star game ever again.

Go on defense, give me a break. I don't care, Varitek can be on the team, big deal. You said go on defense because you knew Varitek would win. Both guys are pretty equal. One thing is the game is supposed to be for home field advantage. Why bring a third catcher who will not play. Varitek is not better than Posada or Hernandez. Why not bring a guy who would be playing at his long standing home stadium. People are saying bring Clemens because of his 300th win. It would be just as special to see Frank at the Cell. Someone said it earlier and its true, the White Sox have a better shot at the playoffs that the Red Sox. Good luck catching the Yanks.

If we traded Carlos to LA, we wouldn't get any prospects back. Their farm system is not exactly full of prospects. They don't have the number of prospects, and would probably want some from us.

Ha, Ward's on a Krispe Kreme diet. That guy didn't seem very happy with his team. I wouldn't either if they just had a 7 game losing streak.

Think what we would have to give up for Beltran. It would have to be top prospects. No one here seems to want to trade our prospects.

2005 is too far away to try to predict. Free agents, people having breakouts, and people just not living up to expectations are all bound to happen. Trades too, including major and minor league players.

Mags is one of the few players we wouldn't trade. Plus, the Marlins want to build around Willis. He is becoming a fan favorite down in Florida. They had the second best game time ticket sales when he pitched a little bit ago. Why would the Marlins trade two cheap, very productive players. The trade would be bad for both teams. The only way Mags could go, is if its for a top rate superstar, not going to happen.

That'd be pretty cool to have a dome. I've been to a bunch of games over the years which have been delayed for hours, once this year too. Opening day, I missed school so I could go to the game. 3 o'clock start time, first pitch was thrown at 5 o'clock. It was so fun and Loz's first win the season, but a dome would be neat.

That just pisses me off. I didn't mind the BoSox too. Now, I can't stand them. What a bunch of Boston Pricks. Varitek isn't even the third best catcher in the AL. Posada and Hernandez deserve to be there and I think Molina is better than him too. "Tek" is going to lose to the Big Hurt. GO BIG HURT!!!

I'm getting used to calling it the Cell too. No way I'll be calling it U.S. Cellular Field too often, but I like the name the Cell. I like Minute Maid Field nickname too, the Juice Box. Many of my friends and I refer to it as that.

I do believe it is the trading deadline.

Bonds 25, Lowell 26, Pujols 26, Edmonds 27, and Delgado 28 are all but certain to be in it. I have to think Frank will make the team because Mike Sweeney is hurt, and Frank will be in the Derby. I do not want him to be in it, but I would still hope he wins. It would be cool to see him win at the Cell. Frank could still be in the derby even if hes not an AS. Sosa was asked to be in it, all 12 HR of his, even though he's not an AS. He turned it down.

I've got about 100 right now. Give or take a few. It's too hard to count everyone and remember what you have.

I take it thats not a big deal? I don't know either guy, anyone think either will ever make it to the Sox?

I have to think Odalis was available. Up until Kevin Brown has been having small nagging injuries. Once LA us sure Brown is healthy, I could see them trading him. They have such great pitching, and the worst offense in the NL. They know they need a bat, and a good bat such as Carlos Lee would cost a decent pitcher.

Corey was running hard. He does not seem like the type of player who slacks off. I hope he gets better and the injury has no lingering effects. You can't help but feel for him, young guy having his breakout season cut short by an injury trying to beat the ball on a bang-bang play at first. One person said Cubs fans would rub it in our face if Mags got hurt like this. I do not think any reall sports fans would say anything of the sort. People who are only on a bandwagon and do not really know the sport may, but real Cubs fans would be hard to see saying tat stuff. I know we don't get along, but serious injurys are no laughing matter.
