You really don't appreciate what you have until it's gone. Seeing Sale in the playoffs did nothing for me, but I get so into these Quintana starts, I root for him so much to pitch awesome, even while rooting against the Cubs. I was at the Hawks game so didn't watch much, but seemed like he was pulled way too early at only 89 pitches? And Rondon has been trash, you knew he would blow it. My Cubs fan buddy is anti Maddon for his in game decisions, he just got lucky last year.

Matt Albers just pitched a scoreless inning in a one run elimination game. I've seen it all.

Just saw the location of the Taylor home run. High heat isn't the same when you only throw 85, that seems uncharacteristic of Hendricks.

Gio seems like a bad matchup vs the Cubs. He throws a lot of pitches and can be wild, they are very patient and see a lot of pitches.

Winning some road games in CONCACAF would be a great start. It seems like they already have the excuses ready before the game starts and are ecstatic with a tie every single time. If you can beat Honduras and Panama 6-0 or 4-0 at home, there is no reason you can't beat them on the road too, I don't care how different the conditions are. Not counting a 6-0 win @ St. Vincent, they got 4 points from 7 road games in this last qualifying cycle, and that includes two games vs. T & T and a game at Guatemala. Even when they qualified 4 years ago, I remember needing an injury time goal from Eddie Johnson just to freaking beat Antigua.
