I like Person because when he is on, he is really on. I didnt really keep track of his numbers last year it would be nice of someone to post em, but 2yrs ago after a not do good 1st half of the season, in the 2nd half he absolutely lit it up he had something like an 8-2 record and a really low era.

lets not al forget about the main man of the pen, Porzio! With his support fromt he pen the Pettite deal could work out very nicely.

This guy is a pretty damn god QB, even though he through a poor pass at the end of the game where i good one prolly wouldve gotten the browns out of bounds for the field go, but he still had a hell of a game. I dont know his contract situation and tradability, and i think he is fairly young but i am not sure so someone tell me. Anyways, he could be a pretty good starter (hinting) the bears make a move for a guy with some experience. He did play better than Couch i think this year, and getting him could allow a different 1st pick other than a qb like a back or reciever and save qb for the 2nd or 3rd round.

I would not do that trade either. Bringing in Kwame doesnt do much for a team with chandler and rose at the forwards and fizer and marshall backing up we are plenty deep there. But i like the idea of having two good point guards and we are a very weak team at center. Plus i agree that curry has growing pains because chandler has suffered them just as badly this season. and Kwame isnt any more great or consistent than crawford and curry

Its great to be emotional when you play the game you love, and a little celebrating is fun when you do something good, but both TO and Shockey need to understand when enough is enough and when it just becomes disrespectful to the game. Someone has got to pop their bloated heads and bring then down to earth.

a new franchise sounds cool cuz that is what ilike most on sports games. i always get all star baeball for ps2 but the franchise isnt much all they did what give you one minor league team and just put new guys in every year, but this new mvp game sounds cool.

The bullpen is a bit different. Their are many slots their so Ring won't be held back once he's ready. Guys like Osuna will likely be gone at the end of the season and Wunsh could be as wel. This will give the Sox a year where some of their younger guys currently in the pen(Glover, Koch, Marte, etc) can continue to grow and then people like Ring, Munoz, and Almonte can step in for the older vets as we have newer guys take their place. You never should bring a guy straight from the minors to closer, imo. I suppose. Just that I don't want Ring to be another Crede..... waiting for a closer spot in the pen to open up. I've heard nothing less than spectacular predictions for this kid as a possible big league closer.

Avg at best is really all you need in left. Carlos will have a big year. He's going to be key in the 6 hole and may just surpass Konerko, taking over the 5 slot(thomas will eventually reclaim the 3 hole).

Plus the fact that at the beginning of last year Hummell was thought of as one of the top second base prospects in baseball. He was a hitting machine, and late in the AFL he showed signs of that again. The good thing about him is he has a very good high for a younger player. I think he'll have a good year in AAA and will fight hard to get a permanent roster slot sometime this season.

To me, he won't ever amount to anything, but you'll never know for sure unless he plays in the bigs I guess. Still, he was way old for a prospect and has never hit above AA. Plus, I'd of went nuts if they called Miles up instead of Harris and Jimenez.

well that is what it does for you people dont get good at something by sittin on their asses and thinking about it ya know. His numbers were increasing along the way too. and many think 2consecutive 60+ homerun seasons and a decent shot at hank aarons homerun alltime record is pretty well worth a HOF bid

I do have to agree Andy Reid is a damn good coach, and the eagles schedule has not been very hard all year except for a couple occasions.
