Considering the organization's history dealing with clubhouse disputes and how outspoken players have been, this is something I would have to consider IMO.

Oh no I totally agree with the vibe the clubhouse is going for. I just know Bumgarner has a very old school mentality and could see potential clubhouse issues with that.

Another thing to consider with Bumgarner is I don't know if he would gel with this clubhouse, namely Tim. I believe he's a "play the game the right way" guy.

Disagree completely, they have the money and this is probably their biggest area of need in a rotation full of question marks outside of Giolito. We know they won't engage with Strasburg or Cole so they are back to relying on lightning in a bottle to get to the playoffs with their pitchers. One signing does not mark a change in culture.

This entirely depends on Lopez/Kopech/Cease and the bullpen. I think the offense will be good but the pitching even if they sign Wheeler, is still a question mark.

They either are planning on keep Kopech in the minors to get back the extra year or maybe they want to move Lopez to the pen.

Kinda hoping they're leaking this because they're trying to get a FA OF to come down on price or are talking to another team about a trade.
